  This is a prospective, longitudinal, controlled, paired, single-blinded clinical trial aimed at comparing the efficacy of Er:YAG and Nd:YAG lasers in the remodeling of early cutaneous scars. The study will be conducted over a period of 6 months at the private clinic Karina Hübner Clínica Dermatológica.Patients undergoing dermatologic surgeries will be invited to participate in the study. A total of 20 patients will undergo laser treatment, with each patient presenting 2 scars. One scar will receive a single session of Er:YAG laser treatment, while the other scar will receive a single session of Nd:YAG laser treatment. Therefore, each patient will serve as their own control

  Trata-se de um ensaio clínico prospectivo, longitudinal, controlado, pareado e de avaliação simples-cega, cujo objetivo é comparar a eficácia dos lasers Er:YAG e Nd:YAG na remodelação de cicatrizes cutâneas precoces. O estudo será conduzido ao longo de 6 meses, na clínica privada Karina Hübner Clínica Dermatológica (Curitiba-PR).Pacientes submetidos a cirurgias dermatológicas serão convidados a participar do estudo. Serão submetidos ao tratamento com laser 20 pacientes, sendo que cada paciente apresentará 2 cicatrizes. Em uma cicatriz será realizada uma única sessão de laser de Er:YAG e na outra cicatriz será realizada também uma única sessão de laser de Nd:YAG. Portanto, cada paciente será seu próprio controle

  To evaluate the efficacy of erbium and neodymium lasers in early scars. It is expected to find benefits in the appearance and functionality of the treated scars and, consequently, to improve quality of life. The outcomes will be verified through the following methods: clinical evaluation using validated scales (Vancouver and POSAS), Likert scale, photographic documentation, and dermatological ultrasonographic examination. All collected data will be subjected to statistical analysis. The significance level to be considered will be 0.05
