  The study is characterized by being a longitudinal clinical study in which quantitative data will be evaluated, such as the effects of the intervention with medical cannabis on the dependent variables: quality of life, symptoms of depression and symptoms of anxiety. The effects of medical cannabis use will be evaluated at three different times: before the intervention, 30 days after the start of the intervention and 60 days after the start of the intervention, in order to verify if these effects change over that time. In addition, it proposes to understand, through qualitative analysis, what is the perception of patients about the contribution of medical cannabis use to their quality of life. It is noteworthy that the present study chose not to carry out a randomized clinical trial due to serious ethical issues involving the impediment of access to the medication by members who sought the association to obtain it; and who are in a situation of mental and physical suffering. In this way, in the design of this research, the participant will be in control of himself. It is also important to inform that treatment with cannabis is not a research procedure, but a standard routine intervention by Maria Flor Associação Canábica em Defesa da Vida, where data will be collected. Therefore, the patient will receive cannabis therapy, including full spectrum oils, consultations and other care offers, regardless of the research and will continue to receive them after the end of the research.

  O estudo se caracteriza por ser um estudo clínico longitudinal no qual serão avaliados dados de origem quantitativa, tal como os efeitos da intervenção com a cannabis medicinal nas varáveis dependentes, a saber: qualidade de vida, sintomas de depressão e sintomas de ansiedade. Os efeitos do uso da cannabis medicinal serão avaliados em três momentos distintos: antes da intervenção, 30 dias após o início da intervenção e 60 dias após o início da intervenção com a finalidade de se verificar se esses efeitos mudam ao longo desse tempo. Além disso, propõe-se a compreender, por meio de análise qualitativa, qual a percepção dos pacientes acerca da contribuição do uso de cannabis medicinal na qualidade de vida. Ressalta-se que o presente estudo optou por não realizar um estudo clínico randomizado devido a sérias questões éticas envolvendo o impedimento de acesso ao medicamento por associados que buscaram a associação para obtê-lo; e que estão em situação de sofrimento mental e físico. Desta maneira, no desenho desta pesquisa, o próprio participante será controle de si mesmo. É importante ainda informar que o tratamento com a cannabis não é um procedimento da pesquisa, mas sim uma intervenção padrão de rotina da Maria Flor Associação Canábica em Defesa da Vida, local em que os dados serão coletados. Portanto, o paciente receberá a terapêutica canábica, incluindo os óleos full spectrum, os atendimentos e demais ofertas de cuidado, independentemente da pesquisa e continuará a recebe-los após o término da mesma.

  People over 18 years of age; patients who will start treatment with medical cannabis; who are newly linked to cannabis associations; who have been diagnosed with cancer; and who are undergoing cancer treatment.

  It is expected to find effects of improvement in the quality of life of cancer patients undergoing treatment with medical cannabis through the WHOQOL-bref quality of life assessment instrument, based on the verification of a variation of at least 5% in the pre, post-intervention and follow-up.

  It is expected to find a reduction in anxiety and depression symptoms among cancer patients using medical cannabis through the application of the depression, anxiety and stress scale (DASS-21), based on the observation of a variation of at least 5% in the pre, post intervention and follow-up measurements.
