  Intervention group: 65 primary school children and adolescents (aged nine to 14 years) and 65 parents over 18 years of age with children at the age of vaccination will respond to the pre-test (knowledge, attitude and practice survey for HPV vaccination ). They will then undergo an educational intervention of up to one hour with the educational video, "It's time to protect yourself with the HPV vaccine," which will be shown with the aid of an audiovisual resource (notebook, tablet or cellphone). After the educational intervention, students and students will respond to the post-test with seven and 30 days, to evaluate the knowledge and attitudes about vaccination; the parents will be approached again seven days, thirty days and seven months from the initial contact in order to verify the knowledge, attitude and practice for the vaccination of their children against HPV, according to the current vaccination schedule. Control group: 65 primary school children and adolescents (aged nine to 14 years) and 65 parents over 18 years of age with children at the age of vaccination will respond to the pre-test (knowledge, attitude and practice survey for vaccination against HPV ). These participants will not be submitted to the educational intervention with the educational video, being re-interviewed students and adolescents to respond to the post-test with seven and 30 days, to evaluate the knowledge and attitudes regarding vaccination; and parents will respond to the post-test seven days, thirty days and seven months of initial contact to verify the knowledge, attitude, and practice of their children's HPV vaccination in accordance with the current vaccination schedule.

  Grupo intervenção: 65 escolares e adolescentes do ensino fundamental (com idades entre nove e 14 anos) e 65 pais maiores de 18 anos com filhos na idade da vacinação responderão ao pré-teste (inquérito conhecimento, atitude e prática para a vacinação contra o HPV). Em seguida, serão submetidos a uma intervenção educativa, de até uma hora de duração, com o vídeo educacional "É hora de se proteger com a vacina contra o HPV", que será exibido com o auxílio de um recurso audiovisual (notebook, tablet ou aparelho celular). Após a intervenção educativa, escolares e adolescentes responderão o pós-teste com sete e 30 dias, para se avaliar o conhecimento e atitudes quanto à vacinação; os pais serão novamente abordados com sete dias, trinta dias e sete meses do contato inicial, a fim de verificar o conhecimento, atitude e prática para a vacinação de seus filhos contra o HPV, de acordo com o esquema vacinal vigente. Grupo controle: 65 escolares e adolescentes do ensino fundamental (com idades entre nove e 14 anos) e 65 pais maiores de 18 anos com filhos na idade da vacinação responderão ao pré-teste (inquérito conhecimento, atitude e prática para a vacinação contra o HPV). Esses participantes não serão submetidos à intervenção educativa com o vídeo educacional, sendo escolares e adolescentes reentrevistados para responder ao pós-teste com sete e 30 dias, para se avaliar o conhecimento e atitudes quanto à vacinação; e os pais responderão o pós-teste com sete dias, trinta dias e sete meses do contato inicial, a fim de verificar o conhecimento, atitude e prática para a vacinação de seus filhos contra o HPV, de acordo com o esquema vacinal vigente.

  Schoolchildren: To be a female student, to be nine years old, to be in the fourth year of elementary education in public elementary schools of Sanitary District IV of the city of Recife-PE; Adolescents: To be a female or male student between the ages of ten and 14, to be in one of the series comprised between the fifth and ninth years of public elementary schools in Sanitary District IV of the city of Recife-PE; Parents: to be 18 years of age or older, to have a child of age in the vaccination age, to have a child enrolled in public elementary schools in Sanitary District IV of the city of Recife-PE. In addition, inclusion criteria for schoolchildren and adolescents have not received any dose of the HPV vaccine and, for the parents, have had a child who has not been vaccinated against HPV in order to perform the evaluation of the practice for immunization, evidencing adherence to vaccination.

  Escolares: ser estudante do sexo feminino, ter idade igual a nove anos, estar no quarto ano do ensino fundamental de escolas públicas do ensino fundamental do Distrito Sanitário IV da cidade do Recife-PE; Adolescentes: ser estudante do sexo feminino ou masculino com idade entre dez e 14 anos, estar em uma das séries compreendidas entre o quinto e nono anos de escolas públicas do ensino fundamental do Distrito Sanitário IV da cidade do Recife-PE; Pais: ter 18 anos ou mais, ter filho/a com idade na faixa etária da vacinação, ter filho/a matriculado/a em escolas públicas do ensino fundamental do Distrito Sanitário IV da cidade do Recife-PE. Além destes, será acrescido aos critérios de inclusão para escolares e adolescentes não ter recebido dose alguma da vacina contra o HPV e, para os pais, ter filho/a que não tenha sido vacinado contra o vírus, a fim de realizar a avaliação da prática para a imunização, evidenciando a adesão à vacinação.
