  The 224 study participants will be randomly assigned, in blocks and using the website randomizer.org, into 2 groups (112 in the intervention group and 112 in the control group) in a 1:1 ratio. There will be no blinding in the study (it will be open-label). The intervention will last 12 weeks and will consist of sending daily messages via the Telegram app, for smartphones, containing one of four types of content (short video, message for reflection, request to perform a short task, day off notice), promoting spiritual well-being, forgiveness, optimism, life purpose, and gratitude. The control group will not receive any type of intervention

  Os 224 participantes do estudo serão randomizados, em blocos e pelo site randomizer.org, entre 2 grupos (112 no grupo intervenção e 112 no grupo controle) na proporção 1:1. Não haverá mascaramento do estudo (será aberto). A intervenção terá duração de 12 semanas e consistirá no envio diário de mensagens pelo app Telegram, para smartphone, contendo um de 4 conteúdos (vídeo curto, mensagem para reflexão, solicitação de execução de uma tarefa curta, aviso de dia de folga), estimulando bem-estar espiritual, perdão, otimismo, propósito de vida e gratidão. O grupo controle não receberá nenhum tipo de intervenção

  Be 18 years of age or older; have stage 1 or 2 hypertension; whether or not they are using antihypertensive medication
