  This randomized and controlled clinical trial have an experimental group of 32 patients with malocclusion with mild to moderate crowding wich they will receive orthodontic treatment with conventional fixed appliance. The control group is constituted of 16 patients with direct bracket bonding and the test group of 16 patients with indirect virtual bracket bonding. A simple randomization, without stratification, will be performed by Excel program with allocation ratio of 1:1. The bonding procedure will be performed prevents blinding of the patient and the operator. However, the evaluations will be carried out by another blind operator in relation to the type of bonding procedure, as well as the statistical analysis.

  Este ensaio clínico randomizado e controlado conta com um grupo experimental de 32 pacientes com má oclusão com apinhamento leve a moderado que receberão tratamento ortodôntico com aparelho fixo convencional. O grupo controle é constituído de 16 pacientes com colagem direta de braquetes e o grupo teste de 16 pacientes com colagem indireta de braquetes virtuais. Será realizada randomização simples, sem estratificação, pelo programa Excel com proporção de alocação de 1:1. O procedimento de colagem que será realizado impede o cegamento do paciente e do operador. Porém, as avaliações serão feitas por outro operador cego em relação ao tipo de colagem, bem como a análise estatística.

  Ages between 12 and 35 years old; of both sexes; complete permanent dentures; need of orthodontic treatment; mild to moderate crowding; Class I or Class II Angle malocclusions; good oral hygiene; good periodontal condition.

  The indirect virtual bonding may bring more effectiveness to the control of teeth crowding when compared with the direct bonding and virtual Bonding is expected to show more effectiveness in crowding control.
