Interventions

• Interventions:

  Single case study, longitudinal, with intervention and initial and final evaluations. One patient will compose the sample of this case study, which proposes the intervention in ten sessions using galvanic vestibular stimulation associated with the human-human interface at the same time that neurofunctional physiotherapy and vestibular rehabilitation exercises will be performed. The beginning of the study will have a series of evaluations including a clinical evaluation composed of anamnesis and physical examination, the Independence Measure (MIF) and the American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA) scale. In addition to these assessments, functional testing measurements of clinical posturography on a force platform will be performed with the tests, Sensory Organization Test and Functional Reach Test. After these procedures, the participant will be invited to participate in the therapeutic test to establish the dosimetry of Galvanic Vestibular Stimulation. Then, the therapeutic sessions will begin, using galvanic vestibular stimulation and the human-human interface, while customized vestibular rehabilitation and neurofunctional physiotherapy exercises are practiced. There will be 10 sessions of care. At the end, all proposed assessments and tests will be re-evaluated.

  Estudo de caso único, longitudinal, com intervenção e avaliações inicial e final. Um paciente comporá a amostra deste estudo de caso, que propõe a intervenção em dez sessões utilizando a estimulação vestibular galvânica associada à interface homem-homem ao mesmo tempo que serão feitos exercícios de fisioterapia neurofuncional e reabilitação vestibular. O início do estudo contará com uma série de avaliações incluindo uma avaliação clínica composta por anamnese e exame físico, a Medida de Independência (MIF) e a escala da American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA). Além dessas avaliações, serão feitas medidas de testes funcionais de posturografia clínica em plataforma de força com os testes, Teste de Organização Sensorial Modificado e Teste de Alcance Funcional. Após esses procedimentos o participante será convidado a participar da prova terapêutica para estabelecimento da dosimetria da Estimulação Vestibular Galvânica. Então, dar-se-á início as sessões terapêuticas, utilizando a estimulação vestibular galvânica e a interface homem-homem, enquanto são praticados exercícios de reabilitação vestibular e fisioterapia neurofuncional customizados. Serão feitas 10 sessões de atendimento. Ao final, serão reavaliados todas as avaliações propostas e testes.
