  This is a non-randomized, one-arm, non-blinding, quasi-experimental study with a quantitative, before-and-after approach, with 26 nurses working in intensive care where the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) and the Nursing Stress Inventory (IEE) before the first intervention and after the last one, the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) will be carried out again to assess whether there has been a reduction in anxiety levels, in addition to checking some vital patterns, such as heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation and blood pressure before and after interventions. The intervention used in this study will be the Reiki Intervention, which will follow a specific execution protocol, Reiki will be applied to the 7 main chakras, which are located in the midline of the body in the direction of the spine, the application must follow the cephalic direction -caudal (from the crown chakra to the base chakra) lasting 4 minutes in each chakra and a total intervention time of 28 minutes. In total, a total of 3 applications will be carried out with a spacing of 2 to 5 days between them, and another session cannot take place before 2 days or after 5 days, each intervention will be carried out lasting 28 minutes in a specific location to maintain privacy and pleasant climate. No sound or smell will be used

  Trata-se de um estudo quase experimental não randomizado, de um braço e sem cegamento, com abordagem quantitativa, do tipo antes e depois, com 26 enfermeiros que atuam em terapia intensiva onde será aplicado o Inventário de Ansiedade Traço-Estado (IDATE) e o Inventário de Estresse em Enfermagem (IEE) antes da primeira intervenção e após a última será realizado novamente o Inventário de Ansiedade Traço-Estado (IDATE) para avaliar se houve redução dos níveis de ansiedade, além da verificação de alguns padrões vitais, como a frequência cardíaca, respiratória, saturação de oxigênio e pressão arterial antes e após as intervenções. A intervenção utilizada neste estudo será a Intervenção Reiki, onde seguirá um protocolo específico de execução, será realizado a aplicação do Reiki nos 7 chakras principais, que se encontram na linha média do corpo no sentido da coluna vertebral, a aplicação deverá seguir o sentido céfalo-caudal (do chakra coronário para o básico) com duração de 4 minutos em cada chakra e um tempo total de intervenção de 28 minutos. No total serão realizadas um total de 3 aplicações com espaçamento de 2 a 5 dias entre elas, não podendo acontecer outra sessão antes de 2 dias e nem depois de 5 dias, cada intervenção será realizada com duração de 28 minutos em um local específico para manter a privacidade e com clima agradável. Não será utilizado nenhum tipo de som ou cheiro

  Nurses of both sexes who report or refer to feeling anxious during the interview will be included; those who have some degree of anxiety evidenced by IDATE and nurses with at least 1 year of experience in the ICU will also be included; the nurse will be included in the research regardless of the use of psychotropic medications and psychological support, so that our research does not interfere with their treatment

  Serão incluídos enfermeiros de ambos os sexos, que durante a entrevista relatem ou refiram sentir-se ansiosos; também serão incluídos aqueles que apresentem algum grau de ansiedade evidenciado pelo IDATE e enfermeiros com no mínimo 1 ano de atuação em UTI; o enfermeiro será incluído na pesquisa independente do uso de medicações psicotrópicas e de acompanhamento psicológico, para que nossa pesquisa não interfira no tratamento deles

  Professionals who have been away for more than six consecutive months in the last year; professionals who are on vacation or away during the execution of the research and participants who, through self-report, have a mental disorder, other than anxiety, will be excluded, according to sociodemographic instrument
