Randomized controlled clinical trial with two arms and a blinded assessor. Participants will be randomized in a one to one ratio. The Structured Face to Face Educational Intervention Group (Intervention Group) will include forty four participants or the Printed Educational Intervention Group (Control Group) will include forty four participants. Both groups will receive an educational booklet containing information on physical activity, sedentary behavior, healthy eating, sleep hygiene, well-being, social participation and fall prevention. The Structured Face to Face Educational Intervention Group will additionally participate in three face to face sessions during which previously recorded video lectures addressing health literacy, communication, healthy lifestyle habits and fall prevention with a focus on environmental hazards in the home will be presented. Outcomes will be assessed at the beginning of the study and thirty days after the intervention. The assessor will remain blinded to the participants' group allocation

Ensaio clínico randomizado controlado de dois braços e com avaliador cego.Os participantes serão randomizados na proporção de um para um. O Grupo Intervenção Educativa Estruturada Presencial (Grupo Intervenção) com quarenta e quatro participantes ou para o Grupo Intervenção Educativa Impressa (Grupo Controle) com quarenta e quatro participantes. Ambos os grupos receberão uma cartilha educativa contendo informações sobre atividade física, comportamento sedentário, alimentação saudável, higiene do sono, bem-estar, participação social e prevenção de quedas.O Grupo Intervenção Educativa Estruturada Presencial participará adicionalmente de três encontros presenciais nos quais serão transmitidas vídeo palestras previamente gravadas abordando letramento em saúde, comunicação hábitos saudáveis de vida e prevenção de quedas com foco nos riscos ambientais domiciliares. Os desfechos serão avaliados no início do estudo e após trinta dias da intervenção.O avaliador permanecerá cego quanto à alocação dos participantes

Being 50 years of age or older; independent ambulation; ability to understand and respond to the assessment instruments; and agreeing to participate in the study by signing the Informed Consent Form (ICF)

Probable cognitive decline identified by the 10-point Cognitive Screening (10-CS) questionnaire (less than 5 points); individuals with a score greater than 12 points on the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS-15), indicative of severe depression; history of falls in the 12 months prior to participation in the research; presence of severe or decompensated cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, or neurological diseases; uncorrected sensory limitations (visual or auditory) that prevent participation in educational workshops or completion of the proposed diaries and scales
