This is a two-arm, open-label, randomized controlled clinical trial. The study population will be composed of 76 health professionals between 20 and 59 years of age, working in the public and private network. The sample will be stratified into two groups. The control group (n=38), which will not have the intervention, and the intervention group (n=38), which will use the mobile application "App Guia Alimentar". The participants will be organized in alphabetical order and randomization will be carried out on the site http://randomization.com/, so that those who did not fit the eligibility criteria will be randomly replaced by new patients able to participate in the study. The questionnaires sent to the participants will be the Self-Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ-20) at the beginning and end of the study, the Food Guide Eating Practices Questionnaire + self-reported weight, height, and waist circumference at the beginning and end of the study, The Eating Motivation Survey (TEMS) at the beginning and end of the study, and only for the intervention group will there be the "Acceptance Questionnaire", the "Engagement Questionnaire", and the "Experience of Use Questionnaire (EUQ)" at the end of the study, because this group will install the "Food Guide App" and use the app during the 3-month intervention.

Trata-se de um estudo clínico randomizado controlado de dois braços, aberto. A população do estudo será composta por 76 profissionais da saúde com idade entre 20 e 59 anos de idade, atuantes na rede pública e privada. A amostra será estratificada em dois grupos. O grupo controle (n=38), que não terá a intervenção e o grupo intervenção (n=38), que irá utilizar o aplicativo para celular “App Guia Alimentar”. Os participantes irão ser organizados em ordem alfabética e à randomização será realizada no site http://randomization.com/, de modo que aqueles que não se encaixavam nos critérios de elegibilidade, serão substituídos aleatoriamente por novos pacientes aptos a participar do estudo. Os questionários enviados aos participantes serão o Questionário Self-Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ-20) no início e final do estudo, o Questionário de práticas alimentares do Guia Alimentar + peso, altura e circunferência do abdômen autorreferidos no início e final do estudo, a Escala de motivações para comer The Eating Motivation Survey (TEMS) no início e final do estudo e somente para o grupo intervenção haverá os Questionários de adesão ao aplicativo “Questionário de Aceitação”, do “Questionário de engajamento” e do “Questionário de Experiência do Uso (QEU)” no final do estudo, pois esse grupo fará a instalação do aplicativo “App Guia Alimentar” e usará o app durante os 3 meses de intervenção.
