    Thirty patients diagnosed with Breast Cancer, undergoing high emetogenic chemotherapy treatment, will be selected and divided into two randomized groups. One group will serve as the control - receiving Medication Prophylaxis, while the other will be the intervention group - receiving Medication Prophylaxis + Acupuncture 30 minutes before starting the chemotherapy infusion. The initial treatment regimen at the hospital consists of 4 cycles of chemotherapy every 14 or 21 days. Each Acupuncture session will last for 20 minutes. Both groups will undergo a cross-over after the second session, ensuring that all patients receive both interventions at different time points. Randomization will be carried out using a computerized generator (random.org) for each patient initiating the protocol, determining the timing of the Acupuncture Intervention. As the acupuncture procedure does not allow for blinding of either the doctor or the patient, only the statistician who will analyze the data will be blinded and will not know who is the case or control group.

    Serão selecionados 30 pacientes com diagnóstico de Câncer de Mama, com proposta de tratamento com Quimioterapia com alto poder emetogênico, divididos em 2 grupos randomizados, sendo um grupo controle - Profilaxia Medicamentosa; um grupo intervenção - Profilaxia Medicamentosa + Acupuntura 30 minutos antes de iniciar infusão da Quimioterapia. A primeira linha de tratamento no hospital consiste em 4 ciclos de Quimioterapia a cada 14 ou 21 dias. Cada sessão de Acupuntura dura 20 minutos. Os 2 grupos realizarão um Cross-over após a segunda sessão, assim, todos os pacientes receberão as duas intervenções em momentos diferentes. A randomização será feita através de um gerador computadorizado (randon.org) a cada paciente que iniciar o protocolo para saber em qual momento será realizada a intervenção com Acupuntura. Como o procedimento de acupuntura não permite o mascaramento nem do médico nem do paciente, apenas o estatístico que analisará os dados será mascarado e não saberá quem é o grupo caso ou o controle.
