  Experimental Group: 30 healthy infants will be consulted monthly, from the 1st to the 4th month of life, and will receive manual physiotherapy techniques (massage of the anterior insertions of the diaphragm, relaxation of the epigastric zone and relaxation of the craniocervical axis). It will also be made and taught to massage mothers in the region of the upper trunk, lower limbs and upper limbs to be made daily in babies. Mothers will be oriented towards maternal care (loving eye contact, baby vocalization, and posture during breastfeeding). The internal control group, composed of 30 healthy infants, will also be monitored monthly, from the 1st to the 4th month of life. The same techniques of manual therapy will be applied as in the experimental group, but with placebo effect, because it will be done with superficial pressure. As in the experimental group, mothers will also be given and taught massage in the upper trunk, lower limbs and upper limbs to be made daily in infants, and they will also be instructed in maternal care (loving eye contact, vocalization with the baby and posture during breastfeeding). The external control group will be composed of 60 healthy infants who will not receive any intervention. They will be monitored monthly, from the 1st to the 4th month of life, through telephone calls. Nothing will be directed or taught to the mothers of infants belonging to this group.

  Grupo Experimental: 30 lactentes saudáveis serão consultados mensalmente, do 1º ao 4º mês de vida, e receberão técnicas de fisioterapia manual (massagem das inserções anteriores do diafragma, relaxamento da zona epigástrica e relaxamento do eixo crânio-cervical). Também será feita e ensinada para as mães massagem na região do tronco superior, membros inferiores e membros superiores para ser feita diariamente nos bebês. As mães serão orientadas quanto aos cuidados maternos (contato visual amoroso, vocalização com o bebê e postura durante a amamentação). O grupo controle interno, composto por 30 lactentes saudáveis, também será acompanhado mensalmente, do 1º ao 4º mês de vida. Serão aplicadas as mesmas técnicas de terapia manual que no grupo experimental, porém com efeito placebo, pois será feita com pressão superficial. Assim como no grupo experimental, também será feita e ensinada para as mães massagem na região do tronco superior, membros inferiores e membros superiores para ser feita diariamente nos bebês e elas também serão orientadas quanto aos cuidados maternos (contato visual amoroso, vocalização com o bebê e postura durante a amamentação). O grupo controle externo será composto por 60 lactentes saudáveis que não receberá nenhuma intervenção. Eles serão acompanhados mensalmente, do 1º ao 4ª mês de vida, através de ligações telefônicas. Nada será orientado ou ensinado às mães dos lactentes pertencentes a este grupo.

  Mothers over 18 years of age with full term newborns greater than or equal to 37 weeks of gestational age and less than 42 weeks of GI, healthy, with an Apgar score greater than 7 at the fifth minute, and with age-appropriate birth weight gestational

  Mothers with impaired comprehension and verbal language will be excluded. It will be excluded newborns with Apgar less than seven in the fifth minute, malformation, neurological disease, congenital infection, and infants who throughout the study have a diagnosis of gastroesophageal reflux disease, with a history of aspiration, apnea, growth restriction , weight loss and difficulty in swallowing, allergy to cow's milk protein, in this study considered as presence of blood in the stool, inflammation of the anus, severe atopic dermatitis and use of formulas to treat food allergy; history of seizure and or diagnosis of metabolic disease and use of medications such as domperidone, bromopride, metoclopramide, omeprazole and ranitidine.

  Serão excluídas mães com dificuldade de compreensão e linguagem verbal. Serão excluídos recém nascidos com Apgar menor do que sete no quinto minuto, má-formação, doença neurológica, infecção congênitas, E os lactentes que ao longo do estudo apresentarem diagnóstico de doença do refluxo gastresofágico, com histórico de aspirações, apneias, restrição de crescimento, perda de peso e dificuldade da deglutição, alergia à proteína do leite de vaca, nesse estudo considerada como presença de sangue nas fezes, inflamação do ânus, dermatite atópica grave e uso de fórmulas para tratamento de alergia alimentar; história de convulsão e ou diagnostico de doença metabólica e uso de medicamentos como domperidona, bromoprida, metoclopramida, omeprazol e ranitidina.
