Interventions:

Randomized controlled crossover clinical study with healthy adult individuals diagnosed with hypertension, over 18 years of age. Participants will be randomized to 3 types of intervention, with a single session for each intervention: Intervention 1 (transcutaneous electrical stimulation of the vagus nerve over the left tragus for 30 minutes), stimulation 2 (transcutaneous electrical stimulation of the vagus nerve over the left concha cimba for 30 minutes), stimulation 3 (sham stimulation - electrode will be fixed to the earlobe by means of a clip containing the anode and cathode electrodes) with a one-week interval between sessions to avoid a potential summation effect of the stimulations. Randomization occurred via the website (www.randomizer.org) by a researcher not involved in the treatment and evaluation. The set of numbers will be evaluated randomly so that each group does not repeat the previous stimulation

Estudo clínico, crossover,controlado randomizado com 14 indivíduos adultos saudáveis e 84 indivíduos com diagnóstico de hipertensão, com idade superior a 18 anos. Os participantes serão randomizados para 3 tipos de intervenção, com uma única sessão para cada intervenção: Intervenção 1(Estimulação eletrica transcutânea do nervo vago sobre tragus esquerdo durante 30 minutos ), estimulação 2 (Estimulação eletrica transcutânea do nervo vago sobre a concha cimba esquerda durante 30 minutos), estimulação 3 (estimulação sham - eletrodo será fixado no lóbulo da orelha por meio de um clipe contendo os eletrodos anodo e catodo durante 30 minutos) com um intervalo de uma semana entre as sessões para evitar um potencial efeito somatório das estimulações. A randomização ocorreu pelo site (www.randomizer.org) por um pesquisador não envolvido no tratamento e na avaliação. O conjunto de numero serão avaliados sorteados de forma aleatória para que cada grupo não repita e estimulação anterior

Healthy individuals (without hypertension) and individuals with hypertension aged 18 years or older of both sexes; Mental State Examination as expected in relation to their level of education 13 points for illiterate 18 points for low/medium education and 26 points for high education
