  The 30 volunteers selected will be distributed in 3 study groups, with 10 patients in each (n = 20 teeth). These study groups will be formed: cervical application, incisal application and total application. There will be 3 applications of whitening gel within 45 minutes. The factors of study will be the presence of sensitivity and the chromatic alteration and the dental elements in a single level: canines. The response variables for clinical analysis will be chromatic changes and postoperative sensitivity. The registration of the color and the presence of sensitivity will be performed in the initial time periods (baseline), after 07, 14, 21 days from the beginning of the lightening. At 14 days after the end of the whitening, only the observations of the patient's degree of satisfaction, color and sensitivity will be evaluated.

  Os 30 voluntários selecionados serão distribuídos em 3 grupos de estudo, com 10 pacientes em cada (n= 20 dentes). Esses grupos de estudo serão formados: aplicação em cervical, aplicação em incisal e aplicação em total. Serão realizadas 3 aplicações de gel clareador no período de 45 minutos. Os fatores de estudo serão a presença de sensibilidade e a alteração cromática e os elementos dentais em um único nível: caninos. As variáveis de resposta para a análise clínica serão a alteração cromática e a sensibilidade pós-operatória. O registro da cor e da presença de sensibilidade serão realizadas nos períodos de tempos inicial (baseline), após 07, 14, 21 dias do início do clareamento. Aos 14 dias após o término do clareamento, apenas as observações do grau de satisfação do paciente, da cor e sensibilidade serão avaliadas.

  It is expected to find a similar chromatic change in all groups, in order to restrict the area of application of the bleaching gel. This way, it will be verified through the chromatic alteration analysis method, using Easyshade to obtain the chromatic alteration results at all previously established times. It will be possible to observe if the variation of the application site will directly influence the chromatic alteration or if the whitening gel has potential for action at a distance.

  Espera-se encontrar uma alteração cromática semelhante em todos os grupos, com o intuito de restrição da área de aplicação do gel clareador. Desta forma, será verificado através do método de análise de alteração cromática, utilizando o Easyshade para obtenção dos resultados de alteração cromática em todos os tempos previamente estabelecidos. Será possível observar se a variação do local de aplicação influenciará diretamente na alteração cromática ou se o gel clareador tem potencial de ação à distância.

Será possível observar se a variação do local de aplicação influenciará diretamente na alteração do limiar de sensação térmica.
