This is a two-arm, open-label randomized controlled clinical trial with no blinding. Pilates Group: composed of seven female participants aged sixty years or older, who had been regular practitioners at a Pilates studio for at least three months. This group performed sessions based exclusively on the Pilates method, with a frequency of two weekly sessions and an average duration of fifty minutes per session, over a four-week intervention period. Multicomponent Group: composed of six female participants aged sixty years or older, who had been regular practitioners at a Pilates studio for at least three months. This group performed sessions based on the Pilates method with the addition of specific exercises for balance, gait, and muscle strength at the end of each session, with a frequency of two weekly sessions and an average duration of fifty minutes per session, over a four-week intervention period. Allocation of the thirteen eligible participants was performed using simple randomization through an opaque container draw, where the numbered identifiers of all volunteers were placed in an opaque pot, being drawn sequentially and alternately allocated to the two intervention groups by an independent researcher not involved in recruitment or intervention delivery
