Interventions

  The intervention group, which should contain one hundred and three women, will participate in a session using the technique of motivational interviewing, with the aim of increasing women's motivation in the process of adopting the recommendations of the Food Guide. The intervention will include sessions with health professionals trained to develop motivational interviewing. There will be twelve Motivational Interviewing sessions, with an average duration of forty minutes, one at each follow-up appointment. The health professional must define an agenda with the women in the intervention group, negotiating and scheduling a goal that will be worked on at each meeting. The control group, which should also contain one hundred and three women, will receive only general guidance without the motivational interview technique.

  O grupo intervenção, que deverá conter cento e três mulheres, participará de uma sessão com a técnica da entrevista motivacional, com o objetivo de aumentar a motivação das mulheres no processo de adoção das recomendações do Guia Alimentar. A intervenção incluirá sessões com profissionais de saúde treinados para desenvolver entrevistas motivacionais. Haverá doze sessões de Entrevista Motivacional, com duração média de quarenta minutos, uma a cada consulta de acompanhamento. O profissional de saúde deve definir uma agenda com as mulheres do grupo intervenção, negociando e agendando uma meta que será trabalhada a cada encontro. O grupo controle, que também deverá conter cento e três mulheres, receberá somente orientações gerais sem a técnica da entrevista motivacional.

  It is expected to find a reduction in the body mass index of the participants of the intervention group compared to the control group at the end of six months, verifying by the anthropometric evaluation with measurement of weight and height for the calculation of the body mass index, from the verification of a reduction of at least 1.2 kilograms per square meter in body mass index after the intervention.

  Espera-se encontrar uma redução no índice de massa corpórea das participantes do grupo intervenção comparadas ao grupo controle ao final de seis meses, verificando pela avaliação antropométrica com mensuração do peso e estatura para o cálculo do índice de massa corpórea, a partir da constatação de uma redução de pelo menos 1,2 quilograma por metro quadrado no índice de massa corpórea após a intervenção.

  It is expected to find a reduction in the consumption of ultra-processed foods after six months, verified through the 24-hour food recall from the observation of a reduction of at least 20 percent in total calorie intake after the intervention.
