    This is a single-group quasi-experimental study. Masking and randomization do not apply to this study. It will be carried out with 50 undergraduate nursing students from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. The students will complete a first sociodemographic characterization instrument; they will then take the pre-test, which is the production of a drug prescription based on a clinical case (where the instrument for assessing the quality of prescriptions, called QualiPresc by the original authors, will be applied). After the drug prescriptions have been collected, a third instrument, the Situational Motivation Scale, will be applied. A week after this first moment, the students will receive the intervention, which consists of applying the teaching-learning methodology “Teaching Good Prescription Writing Practices”, in which the students will produce another prescription based on a clinical case and then evaluated by the researchers using the QualiPresc instrument. After collecting the prescriptions, the Situational Motivation Scale will be applied once again. The prescriptions produced by the recommendation of the seventh stage of Good Prescription Writing Practices on a new case will be considered the immediate post-test. The prescriptions produced at this point will be collected and then evaluated using the QualiPresc instrument. The Situational Motivation Scale will also be applied after the drug prescriptions have been collected during this phase. As for the late post-tests, the clinical cases will be re-applied 15 and 45 days after the intervention and the prescriptions collected for a posteriori evaluation.     Trata-se de um estudo quase-experimental de grupo único. O mascaramento e a randomização não se aplicam a esse estudo. Será realizado com 50 estudantes do curso de graduação em enfermagem da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. Os estudantes preencherão um primeiro instrumento de caracterização sociodemográfica; farão o pré-teste, o qual é a produção de uma prescrição de medicamentos a partir de um caso clínico (onde será aplicado o instrumento de avaliação da qualidade da prescrição intitulado de QualiPresc pelos autores originais). Posteriormente ao recolhimento das prescrições de medicamentos, será aplicado um terceiro instrumento, a Escala de Motivação Situacional (Situational Motivation Scale). Uma semana após esse primeiro momento, os estudantes receberão a intervenção, que consiste na aplicação da metodologia de ensino-aprendizagem “Ensino de Boas Práticas de Escrita da Prescrição de Medicamentos”, onde os estudantes produzirão mais uma prescrição de medicamento a partir de um caso clínico e posteriormente avaliado pelos pesquisadores por meio do instrumento QualiPresc. Posteriormente ao recolhimento das prescrições de medicamentos, será aplicada a Escala de Motivação Situacional mais uma vez. As prescrições produzidas pela recomendação da sétima etapa das Boas Práticas de Escrita da Prescrição de Medicamentos sobre um novo caso, serão considerados o pós-teste imediato. As prescrições produzidas nesse momento serão recolhidas e, posteriormente, avaliada por meio do instrumento QualiPresc. O instrumento Escala de Motivação Situacional (Situational Motivation Scale) também será aplicado após o recolhimento das prescrições de medicamentos nessa fase. Quanto aos pós-testes tardios, os casos clínicos serão reaplicados novamente 15 e 45 dias depois da intervenção e as prescrições recolhidas para avaliação a posteriori.                                                         Primary outcome: Expect to find an improvement in the writing of drug prescriptions by nursing students, assessed using the QualiPresc instrument before and after the intervention.
