    Intervention Group: 20 patients with arterial hypertension will be evaluated where they will be informed about the study and how the analysis will be carried out. A Polar cardiofrequency band will be placed on each patient at the height of the sternum, initially the patient will be placed in supine position for 10 minutes and heart rate, oxygen saturation and blood pressure will be collected. After this collection, the patient will be placed on an ergonomic bicycle, where he will perform physical activity for 30 minutes and blood pressure, oxygen saturation and heart rate will be collected every 5 minutes. Each patient will have their training heart rate calculated using the Karvonen formula. After exercise, the patient will return to rest on a stretcher for 30 minutes, where again heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen saturation will be collected on the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th and 30 minutes. All data will be analyzed on a computer with software that comes with the equipment used (Polar Care).

    Grupo Intervenção: Serão avaliados 20 pacientes com hipertensão arterial  onde serão orientados sobre o estudo, e como será realizado a analise. Será colocado em cada paciente uma cinta do cardiofrequêncimetro Polar na altura do esterno, inicialmente o paciente  será colocado em decúbito dorsal em repouso por 10 minutos e será coletada a frequência cardiaca, saturação de oxigênio e pressão arterial. Após essa coleta o paciente será colocado em uma bicicleta ergômetrica, onde fará atividade física por 30 minutos e será coletada a pressão arterial, saturação de oxigênio e a frequência cardíaca a cada 5 minutos. Cada paciente terá a sua frequência cardíaca de treinamento calculada pela formula de Karvonen. Após o exercício o paciente retornará ao repouso em maca por 30 minutos onde novamente serão coletados a frequência cardíaca, a pressão arterial e saturação de oxigênio no 1°, 3°,5°,10°, 15°, 20°,25° e 30° minutos. Todos os dados serão analisados em computador com software que acompanha equipamento utilizado (Polar Care).

                                                        Evaluate cardiac autonomic modulation using a heart rate monitor (Polar RS800cx) in elderly patients with systemic arterial hypertension undergoing low-intensity aerobic exercise. It is expected to find an increased heart rate variability, verified through the 30-second RMSSD, calculated with the aid of the Kubios HRV analysis software – version 2.0. For this, the HR behavior will be recorded beat-to-beat throughout the experimental protocol, and before using the RR series captured for data analysis, a digital filtering complemented by manual will be performed, to eliminate premature ectopic beats and artifacts, and only sets with more than 95% sinus beats will be included in the study. The RMSSD index corresponds to the square root of the sum of the square of differences between the RR intervals in the record, divided by the number of RR intervals at a given time minus one RR interval. For this analysis, the initial two minutes of the recovery period will be considered, forming 4 analysis windows with 30 seconds each. The HR behavior will be recorded beat by beat throughout the experimental protocol, and before using the RR series captured for data analysis, a digital filtering complemented by manual will be performed, to eliminate premature ectopic beats and artifacts, and only series with over 95% of sinus beats will be included in the study.

                                                        Avaliar a modulação autonômica cardíaca por meio de um cardiofrequencimetro (Polar RS800cx) em idosos portadores de hipertensão arterial sistêmica submetidos a exercícios aeróbicos de baixa intensidade. Espera-se encontrar uma variabilidade da frequencia cardíaca aumentada, verificado por meio do RMSSD de 30 segundos, calculado com auxílio do software Kubios HRV analysis – versão 2.0. Para isso, o comportamento da FC será registrado batimento a batimento durante todo o protocolo experimental, e antes da utilização da série RR captada para análise dos dados, será feita uma filtragem digital complementada por manual, para eliminação de batimentos ectópicos prematuros e artefatos, e somente séries com mais de 95% de batimentos sinusais serão incluídas no estudo. O índice RMSSD corresponde à raiz quadrada da somatória do quadrado das diferenças entre os intervalos RR no registro, dividido pelo número de intervalos RR em um tempo determinado menos um intervalo RR. Para esta análise serão considerados os dois minutos iniciais do período de recuperação, formando 4 janelas de análise com 30 segundos cada uma.
