    Patients will be randomized, in a pre-established numbering sequence, into two groups: study group, vaginal moisturizing gel (n=50) and control group, vaginal lubricant (n=50). Thus, 50 randomized patients will receive a non-hormonal compound vaginal moisturizing gel, approved by ANVISA for maintaining vaginal hydration, promoting relief from vaginal dryness. The product is composed of two main components, polycarbophil (long-acting synthetic bioadhesion polymer) and sodium hyaluranate (biopolymer based on mucopolysaccharides that acts on effective cellular hydration). Other components include a carbomer (viscosity polymer), glycerin (humectant action), sodium benzoate (preservative) and purified water. It is presented in an anatomical applicator (tube), disposable, individually packaged and pre-filled with a quantity of moisturizing gel that provides 2.5g of the product intravaginally. Participants will be instructed to use a tube, inserting it into the vagina in a squatting or supine (lying down) position, with complete application of the vaginal gel, at night, three times a week. And 50 patients in the control group will receive routine guidance on the use of vaginal lubricating gel during sexual activity, consisting of water, glycerin, propylene glycol, hydroxyethyl cellulose, bibasic sodium phosphate, monobasic sodium phosphate, methylparaben and propylparaben.

    As pacientes serão randomizadas, em sequência de numeração pré-estabelecida, em dois grupos: grupo estudo, gel hidratante vaginal (n=50) e grupo controle, lubrificante vaginal (n=50). Assim, 50 pacientes randomizadas receberão orientações para uso do produto do estudo, um gel hidratante vaginal não hormonal composto, aprovado pela ANVISA para manutenção da hidratação vaginal, promovendo o alívio do ressecamento vaginal. O produto é composto por dois principais componentes, a policarbofila (polímero sintético de bioadesão de ação prolongada) e o hialuranato de sódio (biopolímero a base de mucopolissacarídeos que age na hidratação celular efetiva). Outros componentes incluem um carbômero (polímero de viscosidade), glicerina (ação umectante), benzoato de sódio (conservante) e água purificada. É apresentado em aplicador anatômico (bisnaga), descartável, embalado individualmente e pré-envasado com quantidade de gel hidratante que disponibilize 2,5g do produto intravaginal. As participantes serão instruídas a utilizar uma bisnaga, inserindo-a na vagina em posição agachada ou supina (deitada), com aplicação completa do gel vaginal, à noite, três vezes por semana. E 50 pacientes do grupo controle receberão orientação de rotina para uso do gel lubrificante vaginal durante atividade sexual, compostos por água, glicerina, propilenoglicol, hidroxietil celulose, fosfato de sódio bibásico, fosfato de sódio monobásico, metilparabeno e propilparabeno.
