  The intervention of the research consists of a nursing program guidelines regarding lifestyle through a brochure in order to assess its effect on wound healing of wounds, pain and quality of life of patients with venous ulcers. The sample size totaled in 118 subjects (59 subjects per group-intervention and control). The study steps are:: Initial approach: participants answer by interviewing the sociodemographic and clinical data instruments and the FLQA- Wk (quality of life). and evaluating the wound by photography and assessment tool. • D0 (seven days after the initial approach): The intervention group receive lifestyle guidance regarding physical activity, rest and the importance of compression treatment, whereas the control group information on the pathophysiology of ulceration. • D15 (15 days after D0): The intervention group will receive telephone contact, in order to strengthen the guidance of physical meetings • D30 (30 days after D0): Guidelines strengthened the intervention group and time to solve doubts. • D45 (45 days after D0): The intervention group will receive telephone contact, in order to strengthen the guidance of physical meetings • D60 (60 days D0): Guidelines strengthened the intervention group and time to solve doubts. • D75 (75 days after D0): The intervention group will receive telephone contact, in order to strengthen the guidance of physical meetings • D90 (90 days after D0): At the end of the three-month follow-up (90 days), the intervention and control groups will be invited to new development measures of the wound by the total score of PUSH, evaluation of quality of life (FLQA - Wk) and photographing the ulcer to calculate the area previously used at baseline

  A intervenção da pesquisa consiste em um programa de orientações de enfermagem em relação ao estilo de vida por meio de um folheto com intuito de avaliar seu efeito na reparação tecidual de feridas, dor e na qualidade de vida de pacientes com úlceras venosa. O tamanho amostral totalizou em 118 sujeitos (59 indivíduos por grupo- intervenção e controle). As etapas do estudo serão: : Abordagem inicial: os participantes responderão por meio de entrevista os instrumentos de dados sociodemográficos e clínicos, bem como o FLQA- Wk (qualidade de vida). e avaliação da ferida por meio de fotografia e instrumento de avaliação. • D0 (sete dias após a abordagem inicial): O grupo intervenção receberá as orientações de estilo de vida no que se refere a atividade física, repouso e a importância do tratamento de compressão, enquanto que o grupo controle informações sobre a fisiopatologia da úlcera. • D15 (15 dias após D0): O grupo intervenção receberá contato telefônico, com intuito de reforçar as orientações dos encontros presenciais • D30 (30 dias após D0): orientações reforçadas ao grupo intervenção e momento de sanar duvidas. • D45 (45 dias após D0): O grupo intervenção receberá contato telefônico, com intuito de reforçar as orientações dos encontros presenciais • D60 (60 dias após D0): orientações reforçadas ao grupo intervenção e momento de sanar duvidas. • D75 (75 dias após D0): O grupo intervenção receberá contato telefônico, com intuito de reforçar as orientações dos encontros presenciais • D90 (90 dias após D0): Ao final do período de três meses de seguimento (90 dias), o grupo intervenção e controle serão convocados para novas medidas de evolução da ferida pelo escore total do PUSH, avaliação da qualidade de vida (FLQA- Wk) e fotografar a úlcera para cálculo da área, previamente utilizado no início do estudo

  Characteristics of venous ulcer: clinical signs observed;Index ABI> 0.8 and <1.3; Over age 18; Venous Ulcer with a minimum of six weeks and >0,2cm2 size; Treatment with inelastic compression therapy.
