  There is only one group in the study, this being the intervention group consisting of 30 patients who will be subjected to transcutaneous parasacral electrical nerve stimulation (lumbar region) that will be supervised by a physical therapist member of the research team with experience in this type of therapy. Two self-adhesive 5X5cm electrodes will be placed in the S2 and S4 region (lumbar region) and variable intensity, depending on the patient (child), without reaching the motor point. The electrodes will be connected to an electrical stimulation device (De Tens / Fes - 2 channels, Neurodyn Portable Ibramed ®), with the stimulation applied for 4 weeks for 30 minutes each session at the patient's home

  Existe apenas um grupo no estudo, sendo esse o de intervenção constando 30 pacientes que serão submetidos à estimulação elétrica nervosa transcutânea parassacral (região lombar) que será supervisionada por uma fisioterapeuta membro da equipe de pesquisa com experiência neste tipo de terapia. Serão colocados dois eletrodos autoadesivos 5X5cm na região de S2 e S4 (região lombar) e intensidade variável, a depender do paciente (criança), sem atingir o ponto motor. Os eletrodos serão ligados a um dispositivo de estimulação elétrica (De Tens / Fes - 2 canais, Neurodyn Portable Ibramed ®), sendo a estimulação aplicada durante 4 semanas por 30 minutos cada sessão na casa do paciente

  Neurological and / or cognitive deficits; skin lesions in the region where the electrodes are applied; changes in local sensitivity; presence of cardiac pacemaker; children with heart disease or cardiac arrhythmias; patients who present incomplete questionnaires; abandonment of the proposed electrostimulation treatment during the intervention period
