    This is an experimental, randomized, blinded study. A total of 20 athletes meeting the eligibility criteria will be allocated probabilistically into an ETCC (Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation)group or Sham group randomly by number from a table. Only the researcher who will handle the device will know the order. ETCC group 10 athletes, Sham group 10 athletes. They performed peak torque tests in a pre-neuromodulation moment, then neuromodulation for 20 minutes, with an intensity of 2mA, a previously established warm-up, and a 5 km run test, on the athletics track of the Universidade Federal de Sergipe. The whole procedure was similar in the groups, however, the Sham group did not receive neuromodulation, only the electrodes were mounted.

    Trate-se de um estudo experimental, randomizado, cego. Um total de 20 atletas preencheram os critérios de elegibilidade será alocado probabilisticamente em um grupo ETCC (Estimulação Transcraniana por Corrente Contínua ou grupo Sham aleatoriamente por número de uma tabela. Apenas o pesquisador que irá manusear o aparelho saberá da ordem. Grupo ETCC 10 atletas, grupo Sham 10 atletas. Eles realizaram testes de pico de torque em um momento pré neuromodulação, em seguida neuromodulação por 20 minutos, com intensidade de 2mA, um aquecimento, previamente estabelecido, e o teste de corrida de 5 km, na Pista da Atletismo da Universidade Federal de Sergipe, em um momento pós neuromodulação, foi realizado ou teste de pico de torque e avaliado a percepção de cada atleta, por meio da escala de Borg. Todo procedimento foi semelhante nos grupos, no entanto, o grupo Sham, não recebeu a neuromodulação, apenas houve a montagem dos eletrodos.

    Individual volunteers of their own free will, with a minimum of 01 year of training experience in the Running Club, between 18 and 32 years of age, with participation in a 5 km race or training in the last two months with a maximum time of 35 minutes to complete the race, must properly complete and sign the Informed Consent Form authorizing participation in the research and participate in all tests as directed.
