    Patient of the experimental group (Spinal Cord Injury) with a total of 100 participants will be lying on a stretcher comfortably for 20 minutes followed by 5 minutes in the sitting position. During these positions the evaluator will capture the heart rate variability through the Polar V800 that will be positioned in the individuals chest during the whole process. Before and after the measurements will be measured all vital signs (Heart Rate, Blood Pressure, Respiratory Rate and Oxygen Saturation)
All procedures will be performed in a similar way in the Control Group (individuals without the spinal cord injury) also in the total of 100 participants

    Paciente do grupo experimental ( Lesão Medular) com um total de 100 participantes ficará deitado em uma maca de forma confortável por 20min seguido de 5 min na posição sentada. Durante essas posições o avaliador captará a variabilidade da frequência cardíaca por meio do Polar V800 que estará posicionado no tórax do indivíduos durante todo o processo. Antes e após as medições será mensurado todos os sinais vitais ( Frequência Cardíaca, Pressão arterial, frequência respiratória e Saturação de Oxigênio)
Todo procedimento será realizado de forma semelhante no Grupo Controle ( Indivíduos sem a lesão medular) igualmente no total de 100 participantes

    All patients who are in clinical follow-up at Acreditando, Neuromotor Recovery, Health and Welfare Center and carrying the authorization of parents or guardians to participate in the study, with medical diagnosis of spinal cord injury, will be considered eligible.

    Patients with cardiac arrhythmias and atrioventricular block, congenital anomalies, such as congenital heart diseases, pulmonary malformations, and patients using drugs that interfere with autonomous nervous system, such as antiarrhythmic drugs and drugs for the treatment of diabetes mellitus, such as insulin, will be excluded from the study.

    Serão excluídos do estudo os pacientes com arritmias cardíacas e bloqueio atrioventricular, anomalias congênitas, como cardiopatias congênitas, malformações pulmonares e pacientes que utilizem fármacos que interfiram no sistema nervoso autônomo, como antiarrítmicos e medicamentos para tratamento de diabetes mellitus, como insulina.
