  It will be recruited 30 patients with chronic neck pain for treatment in cervical segmental stabilization group guided by a physiotherapist. This treatment consists in carrying out a slight movement "yes" to the head, or a retraction of the cervical spine and after retraction physiotherapist will drive the patient to perform a cervical flexion. Once the patient understand the process of straightening and bending, will be placed Stabilizer. The appliance must be folded in three to be placed in the cervical spine and inflated to 20 mmHg, then the patient will be instructed to perform the same movement "yes" to increase pressure 22 mmHg; at this point the patient should maintain constant pressure and should be repeated 10 times in a progression, the patient may increase the pressure to 24 mmHg and then to 30 mmHg. 15 sessions will be held (1 month) lasting 30 minutes each session, 3 times/week. It will be recruited 30 patients with chronic neck pain for treatment in cervical mobilization group, which will be implemented in accordance with the protocol recommended by Maitland, which is standard with all patients. The patient will be prone with his forehead resting on his hands and the therapist will stand near the patient's head with thumbs contact the spinous process to be mobilized and fingers involving the neck. The pressure that will be used is the postero - anterior central (PAC) where the therapist will perform a pressure with thumbs, the movement of the arms and trunk. Will be made in each session three mobilizations, the total will be held 10 sessions lasting 30 minutes each session performed 3 times/week. It will be recruited 30 patients with chronic neck pain for treatment control group will perform segmental stabilization exercises and cervical mobilization with 10 sessions by 50-minute and 3 times/week

  Serão recrutados 30 pacientes com cervicalgia crônica para tratamento no grupo de estabilização segmentar cervical orientados por um fisioterapeuta. Este tratamento consistirá na realização de um movimento de leve “sim” com a cabeça, ou seja, uma retração da coluna cervical e após a retração o fisioterapeuta irá conduzir o paciente a realizar uma flexão cervical. Assim que o paciente entender o processo de retificação e flexão, será colocado o Stabilizer. O aparelho deverá ser dobrado em três para ser colocado na coluna cervical e inflado à 20 mmHg, então o paciente será instruído a realizar o mesmo movimento de “sim” até aumentar a pressão 22 mmHg; neste ponto o paciente deverá manter constante a pressão e deverá repetir 10 vezes Em uma progressão, o paciente poderá aumentar a pressão para 24 mmHg e depois à 30 mmHg. Serão realizadas 15 sessões (1 mês) com duração de 30 minutos cada sessão, executadas 3 vezes por semana. Serão recrutados 30 pacientes com cervicalgia crônica para tratamento no grupo mobilização cervical, que será executado de acordo com o protocolo preconizado por Maitland, o qual será padronizado com todos os pacientes. O paciente ficará em decúbito ventral com a fronte repousando sobre as mãos e o terapeuta ficará em pé, próximo a cabeça do paciente com os polegares em contato com o processo espinhoso a ser mobilizado e os dedos envolvendo o pescoço. A pressão que irá ser utilizada é a póstero – anterior central (PAC) onde o terapeuta realizará uma pressão com os polegares, pelo movimento dos braços e do tronco. Será feita em cada sessão três mobilizações, no total serão realizadas 10 sessões com duração de 30 minutos cada sessão, executadas 3 vezes por semana Serão recrutados 30 pacientes com cervicalgia crônica para tratamento no grupo controle, os quais realizarão exercícios de estabilização segmentar cervical e mobilização cervical com 10 sessões de 50 minutos 3 vezes por semana
