    Control Group: 52 patients. Will not be submitted to intervention. Anxiety and depression and spiritual wellbeing will be evaluated in the preoperative period and, postoperatively until discharge, postoperative complications and outcome indicators of cardiac surgery.
Intervention Group: 52 patients. Patients in this group will be taken to an exclusive and reserved room in the hospital for Reiki sessions, the patient will lie down and listen for 10 minutes to standard instrumental music (sounds of nature: rain, sea, etc.). ). You will be asked to close your eyes, relax and mentalise receiving the benefit of bioenergetic therapy. The intervention will be applied in the patients by the researcher himself or by a volunteer, who will have knowledge about the project, its purpose, its objective and the ethical aspects to be followed, thus signing the Term of free and informed commitment for volunteers, it will be at all accompanied by the researcher. The Reiki volunteer will have the same training in technique. The volunteer or the researcher can not be with health complaints or illnesses in progress in the acute state at the time of application. The sessions will last about 20 minutes.     Grupo Controle: 52 pacientes. Não será submetido à intervenção. Serão avaliadas ansiedade e depressão e o bem-estar espiritual no pré-operatório e, no período pós-operatório até a alta hospitalar, as complicações pós-operatórias e indicadores de resultados da cirurgia cardíaca.
Grupo Intervenção: 52 pacientes. Os pacientes desse grupo serão conduzidos à uma sala climatizada, exclusiva e reservada no próprio hospital para as sessões de Reiki, o paciente ficará deitado e ouvirá por 10 minutos uma música instrumental padrão (sons da natureza: chuva, mar, etc.). Será solicitado que fechem os olhos, relaxem e que mentalizem receber o benefício da terapia bioenergética. A intervenção será aplicada nos pacientes pelo próprio pesquisador ou por um voluntario, que terá conhecimento sobre o projeto, sua finalidade, seu objetivo e os aspectos éticos a serem seguidos, assinando assim o Termo de compromisso livre e esclarecido para voluntários, ele estará a todo tempo acompanhado pelo pesquisador. O voluntário do Reiki terá a mesma formação na técnica. O voluntário ou o pesquisador não poderá estar com queixas de saúde ou com doenças em curso no estado agudo no momento da aplicação. As sessões durarão cerca de 20 minutos.     To affirm that it does not believe in the possibility that the imposition of hands may be beneficial to health, aortic or congenital cardiac diseases, emergency or emergency surgeries, the use of antipsychotics and anxiolytics, the impossibility of walking, mental and cognitive alterations that (concomitant stroke or sequelae, brain tumors, intracranial hypertension, cognitive and behavioral deficits, sensory-motor deficits), previous renal, digestive and pulmonary diseases, infections acquired before the surgical procedure; refusal to participate in the survey.
