  Intervention Group:The diamond peeling protocol was initiated in 13 women, by cleaning the site (inguinal region) with a cleaning gel and applying the enamel therapy device (IBRAMED®) coupled to the 150-nanometer diamond pen on the bilateral inguinal region to promote microdermabrasion, until local hyperemia was reached, with an average duration of 10 minutes on each treated side. After application, the region was re-sanitized and sunscreen was applied. Control group: the initial evaluation and the final evaluation in 13 women, were performed after 14 weeks (10 weeks corresponding to the application period and 4 weeks of skin regulation in relation to the hyperemic effects, corresponding to the peeling period), without intervention in this period.

  Grupo Intervenção: protocolo de peeling diamante foi realizado em 13 mulheres, iniciando-se pela higienização do local (região inguinal) com gel de limpeza e aplicação do aparelho de endermoterapia (IBRAMED®) acoplado à caneta diamantada de 150 nanômetros sobre a região inguinal bilateral, para promover a microdermoabrasão, até alcançar hiperemia local, com duração média de aplicação de 10 minutos em cada lado tratado. Após a aplicação, a região foi novamente higienizada e aplicou-se protetor solar. Grupo controle: realizou-se a avaliação inicial e a avaliação final em 13 mulheres, após 14 semanas (10 semanas correspondentes ao período de aplicação do recurso e 4 semanas de regulação da pele em relação aos efeitos hiperêmicos, correspondendo ao período de aplicação do peeling), sem aplicação de qualquer intervenção neste período.

  Evaluation of self-esteem by the Rosemberg Self-esteem Scale. Such a scale includes a set of feelings of self-esteem and self-acceptance, assessing global self-esteem. This is comprised of 10 affirmations answered on a four-point graded scale that ranges from, totally agree, agree, disagree and totally disagree. In order to classify self-esteem, the values corresponding to each statement are added, tolerating a maximum value of 40 points (better self-esteem) and a minimum of 10 points (worse self-esteem).

  Evaluation of sexual satisfaction through the Sexual Satisfaction Questionnaire with the Sexual Relationship - QSRS. This consists of 14 items, divided by two sectors ("satisfaction with sexual functioning" - items 1 to 7 - and "trust" - items 8 to 14). The answer is given on a five-position ordinal frequency scale between "almost never / never" and "almost always / always". The overall result of the 14 items is calculated by the sum of these. The notes of the domains or sub-scale and the total note are transformed into grades from 0-100 by the equation: transformed note = 100 X (gross note - possible minimum grade) / possible variation.
