  This is a randomized, double-blind, quantitative clinical study. The sample for this study will be simple random probabilistic, using a statistical program to calculate the same GPOWER® with effect size f (50%), α err prob (5%) and Power (1-β err prob) (80%), inferring 42 people plus a 20% dropout rate, totaling 51 volunteers allocated into three groups Group I: Blue Light Emitting Diode-LED in the active form plus methylene blue dye; Group II: Blue Light Emitting Diode-LED in sham form with methylene blue dye; Group III: Blue Light Emitting Diode-LED in active form plus methylene blue dye and oral antifungal metronidazole 250mg. all with 17 participants each

  Trata-se de um estudo clínico randomizado, duplo cego, abordagem quantitativo. A amostra deste estudo será do tipo probabilística aleatória simples, por meio da utilização de um programa estatístico para cálculo da mesma GPOWER® com effect size f (50%), α err prob (5%) e Power (1-β err prob) (80%), inferindo 42 pessoas acrescido de 20% como taxa de desistência, totalizando 51 voluntários alocados em três grupos Grupo I: Light Emitting Diode-LED azul na forma ativa mais corante azul de metileno; Grupo II: Light Emitting Diode-LED azul na forma de sham com corante azul de metileno; Grupo III: Light Emitting Diode-LED azul na forma ativa mais corante azul de metileno e antifúngico oral metronidazol 250mg. todos com 17 participantes cada

• Inclusion criteria:

  The research will include women; aged between 18 e 40 years; residing in the Coastal Plain; with a proven medical diagnosis of recurrent vaginal candidiasis; who have steady partners; are not pregnant or in menopause; are not immunocompromised patients or undergoing oncological treatment; are not undergoing use of metronidazole or other medication that may interfere with the vaginal microflora; do not present lesions in the Pap smear; and have good cognitive and verbal conditions, and who agree to participate in the research, after reading, understanding and signing the Free and Consent Form Clarified - TCLE

  A pesquisa contemplará mulheres; com idade entre 18 and 40 anos; residentes na Planície Litorânea; com diagnóstico médico comprovado de candidíase vaginal de repetiçã; que possuam parceiros fixos; não estejam gestantes; não estejam na menopausa; não sejam pacientes imunodeprimido e em tratamento oncológicos; não estejam fazendo uso de metronidazol ou outro medicamento que possam interferir na microflora vaginal; não apresentem lesões no exame do Papanicolau; e apresentarem boas condições cognitivas e verbais; e, que concordarem em participar da pesquisa, após leitura, compreensão e assinatura do Termo de Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido - TCLE
