  Control group (G1): 10 patients will receive office dental bleaching using 35% hydrogen peroxide agent; Control group (G2): in 10 patients orthodontic brackets will be bonded in the upper premolars in a period of 67 days; Experimental group (G3): in 10 individuals will be bonded orthodontic brackets in the upper premolars, after a period of 30 days will receive dental bleaching in the office, with a 35% hydrogen peroxide agent

• Inclusion criteria:

  Patients aged between 18 and 40 years will be included; who agree and sign the informed consent form (TCLE); with good oral health in general, with the presence of all upper teeth up to the first molar with vitality, free of caries lesions; and may have satisfactory aesthetic restorations, proven by periapical radiographs that do not involve the middle third of the dental crown; without cervical lesions (abrasion, erosion and abduction); absence of periodontal disease; have not undergone periodontal treatment within 3 months prior to the start of the study; do not present clinical signs of gingivitis and do not have systemic disorders that interfere with the periodontal condition, prior to the installation of the device; non smokers; have not undergone previous orthodontic treatment; have not used antibiotics in the 3 months prior to the study; not being on systemic medication; the initial color of the teeth should be A2 or darker by comparison with the Vita Classic scale (Vita Zahnfabrik, Bad Säckingen, Germany) organized in order of value

  Serão incluídos pacientes com idade entre 18 e 40 anos; que concordem e assinem o termo de consentimento livre e esclarecido (TCLE); com boa saúde bucal em geral, com presença de todos os dentes superiores até primeiro molar com vitalidade, livres de lesões de cárie; podendo apresentar restaurações estéticas satisfatórias, comprovadas por radiografias periapicais e que não envolvam o terço médio da coroa dentária; sem lesões cervicais (abrasão, erosão e abfração); ausência de doença periodontal; não terem sido submetidos a tratamento periodontal nos 3 meses anteriores ao início do estudo; não apresentarem sinal clínico de gengivite e não serem portadores de desordens sistêmicas que interfira na condição periodontal, previamente a instalação do aparelho; não fumantes; não terem realizado tratamento ortodôntico prévio; não terem feito uso de antibióticos nos 3 meses que antecedem o estudo; não estarem sob uso de medicação sistêmica; a cor inicial dos dentes deverá ser A2 ou mais escuros por comparação com a escala Vita Clássica (Vita Zahnfabrik, Bad Säckingen, Alemanha) organizada por ordem de valor

• Exclusion criteria:

  The study will exclude patients who had undergone tooth whitening treatment in the last 12 months; with caries, cervical lesions; pregnant or lactating women; root canal treatment; patients with restorations at buccal surface or dental prosthesis on the teeth; gingival recessions; parafunctional habits; patients who were taking medications with an analgesic or anti-inflammatory effect

  Serão excluídos os pacientes submetidos ao tratamento clareador nos 12 meses que antecedem o estudo; que apresentarem lesões cariosas, lesões cervicais; mulheres gestantes ou lactantes; tratamento endodôntico; presença de restaurações na face vestibular dos dentes ou com próteses dentárias; dentes com recessão gengival; hábitos parafuncionais; que estiverem fazendo uso de medicamentos com analgésicos ou antiinflamatórios
