    he data collection will be divided into three moments: Pre-intervention (before the beginning of the educational activity), in which the recruitment will take place, will be invited to participate in the study and will respond to a form; the educational intervention for those belonging to the intervention group will be carried out 6 biweekly links for a period of three months with guidelines on foot care, while the control group will exclusively receive routine care in the UBS; in the post-intervention, both groups will be submitted to a post-test. The post-test between groups will be applied on different days, and although the control group has not received any intervention, the same interval time will be respected for data collection. 128 patients will participate, 64 in the intervention group and 64 in the control group, the sample calculation was based on the formula for studies with comparison between groups.

    A coleta dos dados será dividida em três momentos: Pré-intervenção (antes do início da atividade educativa), em que se realizará o recrutamento, serão convidados a participarem do estudo e responderão a um formulário; a intervenção educativa para os pertencentes ao grupo intervenção serão realizadas 06 ligações quinzenais por um período de três meses com orientações sobre os cuidados com os pés, enquanto isso o grupo controle irá receber, exclusivamente, o atendimento de rotina na UBS; no pós- intervenção ambos os grupos serão submetidos a um pós-teste. O pós-teste entre os grupos será aplicado em dias diferentes, e apesar do grupo controle não ter recebido nenhuma intervenção, será respeitado o mesmo tempo de intervalo para coleta de dados. 
Vão participar 128 pacientes, sendo 64 no grupo intervenção e 64 no grupo controle, o cálculo amostral ocorreu partir da fórmula para estudos com comparação entre grupos.

                                                        The outcome will be the practice of preventive measures for the appearance of diabetic foot, in which, before the intervention, the majority is expected to practice at least three self-care actions with the feet, and after the intervention (in the intervention group) an improvement in at least one response, ie an increase for four care.                                                         O desfecho considerado será a pratica das medidas preventivas para o surgimento do pé diabético, em que antes da intervenção espera-se que a maioria pratique pelo menos três ações de autocuidado com os pés, e após a intervenção (no grupo intervenção) ocorra uma melhora em pelo menos uma resposta, ou seja, ocorra um aumento para quatro cuidados.
