Interventions:

Randomized, double-blind, split-mouth clinical study with a duration of 12 months. The study will follow the guidelines of the Helsinki declaration on human experimentation. Twenty patients with bilateral multiple recessions greater than or equal to 2 mm will be selected and will be submitted to root coverage surgery with the use of Subepithelial Connective Tissue Graft (test group) or without (control group) Platelet-Rich Fibrin and Leukocyte matrices. The randomization process will be performed through a random permutation generated by a computer (www.randomizatiom.com). In each patient, one side of the mandible or maxilla will serve as a control and the opposite side as a test. The same experienced professional will perform both surgeries at the same time

Estudo clínico, duplo-cego, aleatorizado, boca dividida com duração de 12 meses. O estudo seguirá as diretrizes da declaração de Helsinki sobre os experimentos em seres humanos. Serão selecionados 20 pacientes com recessões múltiplas bilaterais, maior ou igual a 2mm, que serão submetidos a cirurgia de recobrimento radicular com o uso de Enxerto de Tecido Conjuntivo Subepitelial associado (grupo teste) ou não (grupo controle) as matrizes de Fibrina Rica em Plaquetas e Leucócitos. O processo de randomização será realizado através de uma permutação aleatória gerada por um computador (www.randomizatiom.com). Em cada paciente, um lado da mandíbula ou maxila servirá como controle e o lado oposto como teste. O mesmo profissional experiente realizará ambas as operações em um único momento

Patients over 18 years of age; both sexes;full mouth biofilm and bleeding score equal to or less than twenty percent; bilateral Cairo RT1 gingival recessions on three adjacent teeth greater than or equal to 2mm; main complaint esthetics or dentin hypersensitivity

Patients with systemic health problems; contraindication for periodontal surgery; smokers; pregnant or lactating women; previous root covering surgery at the experimental site

It’s expected to evaluate the tissue volume change obtained through root coverage in multiple bilateral recessions using subepithelial connective tissue grafting with or without L-PRF matrix; this outcome will be measured through standardized clinical evaluation at 6, 12, and 24 months with photographic, tomographic, and digital records obtained through intraoral scanning; quantitative data will be presented as means and standard deviations; the level of significance adopted will be 5% (p<0.05); intergroup and intragroup differences will be evaluated using the most appropriate parametric or nonparametric tests after analyzing the normality of the data obtained
