  The sample of 40 patients who would already undergo fixed orthodontic treatment, will be divided into two groups according to the adhesive used. Group 1: Transbond XT (n = 20), Group 2: Orthocem (n = 20). These patients went through the traditional process for bonding the orthodontic appliance, except for the fact that previously the process called deproteinization will be performed, which corresponds to the application of 5% sodium hypochlorite in a hemi-arch, the other being absent from hypochlorite. (split mouth study), followed by the device's bonding process: acid conditioning, application of the adhesive and light curing. Patients will be cleared of possible doubts and instructed to read and confirm their knowledge through a Free and Informed Consent Term approved by the Ethics Committee. The follow-up of the patients will be monthly for a total of 6 months, with the take-offs recorded and redone if necessary.

  A amostra de 40 pacientes que já iriam submeter-se ao tratamento ortodôntico fixo, irão ser divididos em dois grupos de acordo com o adesivo utilizado. Grupo 1: Transbond XT (n=20), Grupo 2: Orthocem (n=20). Esses pacientes passaram pelo processo tradicional para colagem do aparelho aparelho ortodôntico, exceto pelo fato de que anteriormente será realizado o processo chamado de desproteinização, que corresponde a aplicação do hipoclorito de sódio a 5% em uma hemi-arcada, sendo a outra ausente da hipoclorito (estudo de boca dividida) , seguindo-se com o processo de colagem do aparelho: condicionamento ácido, aplicação do adesivo e fotopolimerização. Os pacientes serão esclarecidos de possíveis dúvidas e instruídos a leitura e firmando ciência através de um Termo de Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética. O acompanhamento dos paciente será mensalmente no total de 6 meses, sendo anotado as descolagens e refeitas se necessário.

  Patients with indication for fixed orthodontic treatment without tooth extractions. Complete permanent dentition in the maxillary arch until first molars (10 teeth) present, erupted, absent from caries, erosion, friction, attrition, abrasion, enamel hypoplasia, imperfect amelogenesis, without restorations, or anomalies in the vestibular surfaces;

Dentição permanente completa no arco superior até primeiros molares (10 dentes) presentes, irrompidos, ausentes de cárie, erosão, abfração, atrição, abrasão, hipoplasia do esmalte, amelogênese imperfeita, sem restaurações, ou anomalias nas faces vestibulares;

  It is expected to find out if the use of hypochlorite really increases or not the adhesion of orthodontic accessories, if it increases, it will be a new tool to improve the quality of the bonding of these accessories in the orthodontist's clinical routine
