Test group: 59 composite resin restorations Z350 XT. Control group: 59 Filtek Bulk-Fill resin restorations. After prophylaxis, the tooth will be anesthetized and absolute insulation with rubber damp and appropriate clamp will be performed. The cavity preparation will be done with the use of diamond tips in high rotation of size appropriate to the extension of the carious lesion. Removal of carious tissue will be performed with low-rotation drills and / or dentine spoons of appropriate size into the cavity. Removal will occur selectively. The infected dentin will be removed and the affected dentin will be kept in the cavity. To aid in the reconstruction of the proximal wall, unimatrix and wedge of wood will be used. The conditioning will be the same in the test group and in the control group: enamel and dentin will be conditioned with 37% phosphoric acid gel for 30 seconds in enamel and 15 seconds in dentin, followed by washing in abundance. Afterwards, the Universal Single Bond adhesive system will be applied directly to the dry substrates (enamel and dentin) for 20 seconds, according to manufacturers' instructions. A light stream of compressed air for 5 seconds will be applied. The adhesive system will be photoactivated for 10 seconds with the QHL 75 Curing Lite. In the control group each increment of composite resin will be photoactivated for 20 seconds. In the test group, the increment will be photoactivated through the occlusal, buccal and lingual surfaces of the tooth for 20 seconds. After removal of the absolute insulation, occlusal interferences will be removed with 3118F fine grain diamond tips at high speed under refrigeration. The time required, from the opening of the envelope, to perform the restorative procedure will be timed in all restorations.

Grupo teste: 59 restaurações de resina composta Z350 XT. Grupo controle: 59 restaurações de resina Filtek Bulk-Fill. Após profilaxia, o dente será anestesiado e realizar-se-á isolamento absoluto com dique de borracha e grampo apropriado. O preparo cavitário será feito com o uso de pontas diamantadas em alta rotação de tamanho apropriado à extensão da lesão cariosa. A remoção de tecido cariado será realizada com brocas de baixa rotação e/ou colheres de dentina de tamanho apropriado à cavidade. A remoção ocorrerá de maneira seletiva. Será removida a dentina infectada e a dentina afetada será mantida na cavidade. Para auxílio na reconstrução da parede proximal será utilizada unimatrix e cunha de madeira. O condicionamento será de maneira igual no grupo teste e no grupo controle: esmalte e dentina serão condicionados com gel de ácido fosfórico a 37% durante 30 segundos em esmalte e 15 segundos em dentina, seguido de lavagem em abundância. Após, o sistema adesivo Single Bond Universal será aplicado diretamente sobre os substratos (esmalte e dentina) secos, durante 20 segundos, conforme orientações dos fabricantes. Um leve jato de ar comprimido por 5 segundos será aplicado. O sistema adesivo será fotoativado por 10 segundos com o aparelho QHL 75 Curing Lite. No grupo controle cada incremento de resina composta será fotoativado por 20 segundos. No grupo teste, o incremento será fotoativado através das faces oclusal, vestibular e lingual do dente durante 20 segundos. Após remoção do isolamento absoluto, interferências oclusais serão removidas com pontas diamantadas de granulação fina em alta rotação sob refrigeração. O tempo necessário, a partir da abertura do envelope, para realizar o procedimento restaurador será cronometrado em todas as restaurações.

Restoration failure, evaluating functional, biological, mechanical and aesthetic criteria according to International Dental Federation (FDI) criteria, using the Kaplan-Meier survival analysis considering the minimum difference between the 25% groups.
