  This project is characterized as a randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial with a sample number (n) = 60 patients with persistent olfactory disorders up to one year after SARS-CoV-2 infection, regardless of gender and age group between 19 and 59 years. Patients will be randomly divided into three groups of 20 patients each. Group 1 (placebo group) will undergo 10 sessions of photobiomodulation therapy with the device turned off for 50 seconds in each nostril, twice a week. In Group 2 (Red Light Group) therapy will be performed for 10 sessions with the device applying 4J of red light in each nostril for 40 seconds twice a week. In Group 3 (Infrared Group), 10 sessions of TFBM (photobiomodulation therapy) will be performed, in which the device applies 4J of infrared light for 40 seconds in each nostril twice a week.

  Este projeto se caracteriza como um ensaio clínico randomizado e placebo controlado com número amostral (n)= 60 pacientes apresentando distúrbios olfatórios persistentes até um ano pós infecção por SARS-CoV-2, independente do sexo e de faixa etária entre 19 e 59 anos. Os pacientes serão divididos de maneira randomizada em três grupos, com 20 pacientes cada. O Grupo 1 (grupo Placebo), serão realizadas 10 sessões da terapia de fotobiomodulação com o aparelho desligado por 50 segundos em cada narina, duas vezes na semana. No Grupo 2 (Grupo Luz Vermelha) serão realizadas a terapia por 10 sessões com o aparelho aplicando 4J da luz vermelha em cada narina durante 40 segundos duas vezes na semana. Já no Grupo 3 (Grupo Infravermelho) serão realizadas as 10 sessões da TFBM (Terapia de fotobiomodulação), no qual o aparelho aplica 4J da luz infravermelho por 40 segundos em cada narina duas vezes na semana.
