This is a randomized, controlled, two-arm, single-blinded clinical trial involving nursing students from the third to the fifth year of undergraduate education. The total sample will consist of 122 participants, considering an estimated 20% loss rate, resulting in 98 participants for analysis. Participants will be allocated into two groups: a control group and an intervention group, with 49 participants in each group. The control group will undergo traditional simulation training in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, using structured scenarios and high-fidelity mannequins. The intervention group will receive training through Rapid Cycle Deliberate Practice (RCDP), also using structured simulation scenarios and the same resources. Both groups will participate in a single training session, preceded by a baseline knowledge test and a video lecture aimed at standardizing theoretical knowledge. At the end of the intervention, the knowledge test, the satisfaction and self-confidence instrument, and the effectiveness instrument will be re-applied.

Trata-se de um ensaio clínico randomizado, controlado, de dois braços e unicego, com estudantes de enfermagem do terceiro ao quinto ano de graduação. A amostra total será de 122 participantes, considerando taxa de 20% para possíveis perdas, totalizando 98 participantes para análise. Os participantes serão alocados em dois grupos: grupo controle e grupo intervenção, com 49 participantes em cada grupo. O grupo controle realizará simulação clínica tradicional em suporte avançado de vida cardiovascular, utilizando cenários estruturados com manequins de alta fidelidade. O grupo intervenção será submetido ao treinamento por Prática Deliberada de Ciclo Rápido (PDCR), também em cenários estruturados e com os mesmos recursos de simulação. Ambos os grupos realizarão a intervenção em um único encontro, precedido por teste de conhecimento e vídeo-aula para nivelamento teórico. Ao final da intervenção, serão reaplicados o teste de conhecimento, o instrumento de satisfação e autoconfiança e o instrumento de efetividade

Expected outcomes 1: It is expected that the findings of this study will demonstrate greater effectiveness of Rapid Cycle Deliberate Practice (RCDP) as a teaching strategy in the acquisition of knowledge and technical skills in the management of cardiac arrest (CPR), and that it will provide higher levels of satisfaction and self-confidence among undergraduate nursing students when compared to traditional clinical simulation.

Desfecho esperado 1: Espera-se que os achados deste estudo constatem maior efetividade da PDCR como estratégia de ensino na aquisição de conhecimento, habilidade técnica no atendimento à vítima de PCR e seja capaz de proporcionar maior satisfação e autoconfiança entre os estudantes do curso de graduação em enfermagem quando comparado ao método de simulação clínica.
