  Intervention group (n=82): the participants will be submitted to the Previna Board Game, an educational technology on sexually transmitted infections developed and validated in a previous study. The game contains 01 board with 55 squares, 52 cards, 01 instruction manual, 05 pawns and 01 dice. The educational technology is designed to be played with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 women. Along the board there are yellow squares with an exclamation point that draws attention to risky or prevention behaviors and has its own cards for this (yellow color). The other cards are classified as follows: true or false question (blue); multiple-choice question (green); challenge (red); information (pink); prevention or risk (yellow). The content on STIs - signs and symptoms, transmission, prevention, main STIs, diagnosis, treatment and vulnerability - was addressed based on situations that refer to the daily lives of incarcerated women. The game will be applied in the classroom, after an initial interview and measurement of knowledge about sexually transmitted infections, by the researcher in charge, for groups of a maximum of 05 students. All women who were in the classroom and were volunteers will receive the intervention. Control group (n=82): the participants of the control group will not receive intervention, as it was considered that they are exposed to knowledge about sexually transmitted infections in the most varied socialization spaces with which they had contact before imprisonment, such as schools and health services. health, as well as through communication vehicles (television, radio, internet), and even within the scope of the prison establishment, on the occasion of health education lectures. Interview and measurement of knowledge about sexually transmitted infections will be carried out for the control group. New measurements of knowledge about sexually transmitted infections will be performed, for the intervention and control groups, on the seventh and thirtieth days after the initial measurement.

  Grupo intervenção (n=82): as participantes serão submetidas ao Jogo de Tabuleiro Previna, tecnologia educacional sobre infecções sexualmente transmissíveis desenvolvida e validada em estudo anterior. O jogo contém 01 tabuleiro com 55 casas, 52 cartas, 01 manual de instruções, 05 peões e 01 dado. A tecnologia educacional foi planejada para ser jogada com no mínimo 02 e no máximo 05 mulheres. Ao longo do tabuleiro existem casas amarelas com uma exclamação que chama atenção para comportamentos de risco ou prevenção e tem cartas próprias para isso (cor amarela). As demais cartas são classificadas da seguinte forma: pergunta verdadeiro ou falso (azul); pergunta múltipla escolha (verde); desafio (vermelha); informação (rosa); prevenção ou risco (amarela). O conteúdo sobre IST - sinais e sintomas, transmissão, prevenção, principais IST, diagnóstico, tratamento e vulnerabilidade – foi abordado com base em situações que remetem o cotidiano das mulheres encarceradas. O jogo será aplicado em sala de aula, após entrevista inicial e mensuração do conhecimento sobre infecções sexualmente transmissíveis, pela pesquisadora responsável, para grupos de no máximo 05 alunas. Todas as mulheres que estiveram em sala de aula e foram voluntárias receberão a intervenção. Grupo controle (n=82): as participantes do grupo controle não receberão intervenção, pois considerou-se que estão expostas ao conhecimento sobre infecções sexualmente transmissíveis nos mais variados espaços de socialização com os quais tiveram contato antes da reclusão, como escolas e serviços de saúde, assim como por meio de veículos de comunicação (televisão, rádio, internet), e inclusive no âmbito do estabelecimento prisional, por ocasião de palestras de educação em saúde. Será realizado entrevista e mensuração do conhecimento sobre infecções sexualmente transmissíveis para o grupo controle. Novas mensurações do conhecimento sobre infecções sexualmente transmissíveis serão realizadas, para os grupos intervenção e controle, no sétimo e trigésimo dia após a realização da mensuração inicial.

  Incarcerated women, regularly enrolled at the Olga Benário Prestes State School that operates within the chosen prison unit and with a minimum stay of 2 months.

  Women who were not authorized by the prison unit or school administration for conduct that represents a risk for those involved; and pregnant women, for presenting information about STIs during prenatal consultations, which can be considered a bia.
