  The medical records of the 1,100 patients who underwent total knee arthroplasty surgery from January 2018 to December 2020 will be evaluated in search of blood transfusion rates and the correlation with predictive and protective factors in knee arthroplasty. An experimental group (100 patients) will be formed: patients who received blood transfusion during or after a total knee arthroplasty surgery and a control group (1000 patients): patients who did not receive a blood transfusion during or after a total arthroplasty surgery. kneeling. We will perform a correlation analysis with the following factors: age, sex, body mass index, previous hemoglobin level, comorbidities, tourniquet use or not and use or not of venous and topical tranexamic acid, use or not of joint drain.

  Serão avaliados os prontuários dos 1.100 pacientes que receberam uma cirurgia de artroplastia total de joelho de janeiro de 2018 a dezembro de 2020 em busca das taxas de hemotransfusão e a correlação com fatores preditivos e protetivos na artroplastia de joelho. Serão formados um grupo experimental (100 pacientes): pacientes que receberam transfusão sanguínea durante ou após uma cirurgia de artroplastia total de joelho e um grupo controle (1000 pacientes): pacientes que não receberam transfusão sanguínea durante ou após uma cirurgia de artroplastia total de joelho. Realizaremos uma análise de correlação com os seguintes fatores: idade, sexo, índice de massa corporal, nível de hemoglobina prévio, comorbidades, uso ou não do torniquete e uso ou não de ácido tranexâmico venoso e tópico, uso ou não de dreno articular.
