  This is a randomized, controlled, two-arm, triple-blind clinical study. Participants with A3-colored teeth will undergo the interventions. The study will have two groups: Group 1: Vittra APS Unique monochromatic resin and Group 2: Opallis conventional resin. The treatments will be randomized by drawing lots, so that the same patient receives both treatments. The 34 participants will be randomized. The randomization will be kept in sealed envelopes, which will only be opened at the time of the intervention. An independent researcher will perform the randomization. The patient and the examiners will not be aware of which treatment was applied to each tooth. The operator will also be blinded to the treatment, since he will receive the composite resin with the label covered. The participants will receive prophylaxis prior to the restorative procedure. Afterwards, the restoration on the vestibular surface will follow the incremental technique: selective acid etching of the enamel, with 37% phosphoric acid; washing and drying of the cavity; active application of a universal self-etching adhesive system; Restoration with monochromatic composite resin (Vittra Unique and Opallis), placed in increments of 1.5 mm maximum, followed by light curing for 40 seconds. Afterwards, the restorations will be finished immediately with fine and extra-fine diamond burs and polished, under constant cooling with water. Data will be obtained at baseline, immediately and up to 30 days postoperatively. The initial and follow-up color measurement will be performed by a calibrated researcher, using the Vita 3D scale.

  Trata-se de um estudo clínico randomizado controlado de dois braços triplo cego. Participantes com dentes cor A3 serão submetidos às intervenções. O estudo possuirá dois grupos: Grupo 1: Resina monocromática Vittra APS Unique e Grupo 2: Resina convencional Opallis. Os tratamentos serão randomizados por sorteio, de tal forma que o mesmo paciente receba os dois tratamentos. Os 34 participantes serão randomizados. A randomização será mantida em envelopes lacrados, sendo abertos somente no momento da intervenção. Um pesquisador independente fará a randomização. O paciente e os examinadores não terão conhecimento de qual tratamento foi aplicado em cada dente. O operador também ficará cego para o tratamento, uma vez que receberá a resina composta com o rótulo tampado. Os participantes receberão profilaxia previamente ao procedimento restaurador. Após, a restauração na face vestibular seguirá a técnica incremental: condicionamento ácido seletivo em esmalte, com ácido fosfórico 37%; lavagem e secagem da cavidade; aplicação ativa de sistema adesivo universal autocondicionante; restauração com resina composta monocromática (Vittra Unique e Opallis), colocada em incrementos de 1,5mm no máximo, seguido de fotopolimerização por 40s. Após, as restaurações serão finalizadas imediatamente com brocas diamantadas finas e extrafinas e polidas, sob refrigeração constante com água. Dados serão obtidos no baseline, imediatamente e em até 30 dias de pós-operatório. A mensuração de cor inicial e follow-up será realizada por pesquisador calibrado, usando escala Vita 3D.

  Age between 18 and 60 years; in good general and oral health; presenting healthy upper canines with color variation A3 to D4 on the Vita scale; no pain or pulp alteration in the tooth to be whitened; consent to participate in the research; both sexes

  Before and after the restorative procedures, teeth and restorations will have their color evaluated using the VITA classical scale. Data will be performed immediately and 30 days after restoration.
