    This is a two-arm randomized controlled trial with crossover groups and a two-week washout period. Intervention/Control Group: 15 individuals with reduced ankle range of motion will receive osteopathic intervention on the ankle and foot during the first period, and after the washout, they will receive a sham intervention in the second period. Control/Intervention Group: 15 individuals with reduced ankle range of motion will receive a sham intervention on the ankle and foot during the first period, and after the washout, they will receive osteopathic intervention in the second period. The allocation of individuals to the intervention/control and control/intervention groups will be randomized. One week after the application of the technique, participants in both groups will be reassessed to observe the retention time of the treatment technique.

    Trata-se de um ensaio clínico randomizado controlado de dois braços, com grupos cruzados e período de washout (intervalo) de duas semanas. Grupo Intervenção/Controle: 15 indivíduos com redução de amplitude de movimento do tornozelo receberão intervenção osteopática no tornozelo e pé, durante o primeiro período, após o washout receberão intervenção simulada no segundo período. Grupo Controle/Intervenção: 15 indivíduos com redução de amplitude de movimento do tornozelo receberão intervenção simulada no tornozelo e pé durante o primeiro período, após o washout receberão intervenção osteopática no segundo período. A distribuição dos indivíduos em grupo intervenção/controle e controle/intervenção ocorrerá de forma aleatorizada.     Non-pregnant adult subjects; aged between 18 and 40 years; with ankle dorsiflexion limitation measured by the Weight Bearing Lunge Test (Lunge Test); who have never undergone manipulative treatment or manual therapies; without ankle and/or foot surgery, ankle sprains in the last 6 months; without a diagnosis of neurological disease; who agree to participate in the study by signing the informed consent form
