    Women with breast cancer, whose surgery is scheduled by the medical team, will undergo a preoperative nursing consultation performed by the nurse who will recruit the participant according to the eligibility criteria, if elected, data collection will begin in this operative phase . After this stage, the forms with the participant's data will be sent to a collaborator who is not involved in this stage of recruitment and also of the study intervention. This will allocate participants into two groups at random: intervention (IG) and control (CG), in the proportion of 1:1, through simple randomization through a table of random numbers from a computerized algorithm, identifying each form with the terms “GI” or “GC”, and then hand them over to the researchers responsible for telephone contacts, which will be for all participants.
Thus, for the Intervention Group, we will have 35 women in the postoperative period of breast cancer surgeries who will receive phone calls on the 1st postoperative day, from the 5th to the 7th postoperative day and from the 30th to the 40th postoperative day, to application of a self-care assessment scale (EACAC) and guidelines on postoperative self-care, with an average duration of 10 minutes for each call.
For the Control Group, we will have 35 women in the postoperative period of breast cancer surgery who will also receive phone calls on the 1st postoperative day, from the 5th to the 7th postoperative day and from the 30th to 40th postoperative day, but for these , only the self-care assessment scale (EACAC) will be applied, with an average duration of 5 minutes per phone call.
In this way, neither the researcher responsible for the recruitment nor the participants will know who is a participant in the CG or IG, characterizing a double-blind study

    Mulheres com câncer de mama, cuja cirurgia está com data programada pela equipe médica, passará por consulta de enfermagem pré-operatória realizada pela enfermeira que recrutará a participante conforme os critérios de elegibilidade, caso seja eleita, será iniciada a coleta de dados nessa fase operatória. Após essa etapa, os formulários com os dados da participante serão enviados a um colaborador alheio a essa etapa de recrutamento e também da intervenção do estudo. Este realizará alocação das participantes em dois grupos aleatoriamente: intervenção (GI) e controle (GC), na proporção de 1:1, por meio de randomização simples através de uma tabela de números aleatórios a partir de um algoritmo computadorizado, identificando cada formulário com os termos “GI” ou “GC”, e depois os entregará aos pesquisadores responsáveis pelos contatos telefônicos, que serão para todas as participantes. 
Assim, para o Grupo intervenção, teremos 35 mulheres no pós-operatório de cirurgias por câncer de mama que receberão ligações telefônicas no 1º dia pós-operatório, do 5º ao 7º dia pós-operatório e do 30º ao 40º dia pós-operatório, para aplicação de uma escala para avaliação do autocuidado (EACAC) e orientações sobre autocuidado pós-operatório, com duração de 10 minutos em média para cada ligação. 
Para o Grupo Controle teremos 35 mulheres no pós-operatório de cirurgia por câncer de mama que também receberão ligações telefônicas no 1º dia pós-operatório, do 5º ao 7º dia pós-operatório e do 30º ao 40º dia pós-operatório, mas para estas, será aplicada apenas a escala para avaliação do autocuidado (EACAC), com duração média de 5 minutos por cada ligação telefônica.

    Surgical management that includes replacement of the expander for a definitive prosthesis whose therapeutic surgery took place at another time, removal of the expander or prosthesis due to surgical site infection, hematoma drainage or other surgical complication; Hearing acuity affected, which makes communication via telephone impossible. This characteristic will be proven by means of the Whisper Test propaedeutics (LABANCA et al, 2017); Mental restrictions, proven by medical diagnosis that prevent the understanding of the intervention; Self-care deficit prior to surgery, detected by the Self-Care Assessment Scale (EACAC), whose score is less than 56, which refers to poor or poor capacity for self-care even before the surgical procedure

                                                        To evaluate the self-care capacity verified by the experimental method of the randomized clinical trial type.                                                         Avaliar a capacidade de autocuidado verificado pelo método experimental do tipo ensaio clínico randomizado.
