  Group 1 (Control Group) - 13 patients will be submitted to 3 dental whitening sessions, with an interval of 7 days between sessions. At the beginning and at the end of each session, the patient will be submitted to intraoral photographs to register the color of the teeth, as well as they will be submitted to the use of the digital spectrophotometer (EasyShade - Vita) to measure the color of the 6 upper anterior teeth, using a transparent silicone matrix is ??used to allow measurement at the same location of the tooth. Before starting the procedure, the patient will be dressed in Personal Protective Equipment (goggles / cap and apron), dental prophylaxis will be performed with pumice paste and water, washing the dental surface with water and applying a gingival barrier (Top Dam - FGM) and photoactivation for 30 seconds with a light curing device (Raddi - SDI). In this group, only the bleaching gel with 35% hydrogen peroxide (Whiteness HP - FGM), with an applicator brush, will be used on the buccal surface of the upper and lower teeth, for a period of 45 minutes, with the gel changing every 15 minutes. , totaling two exchanges of the same. At the end of the established time, the excess of the whitening gel (aspiration cannula) will be aspirated and the dental surface washed with water (triple syringe), removing the gingival barrier.   Grupo 1 (Grupo Controle) - 13 pacientes serão submetidos a 3 sessões de clareamento dentário de consultório, com intervalo de 7 dias entre as sessões. No início e ao final de cada sessão o paciente será submetido a fotografias intra-orais para registro da cor dos dentes, assim como serão submetidos ao uso do espectofotômetro digital (EasyShade - Vita) para aferição da cor dos 6 dentes anteriores superiores, utilizando-se uma matriz em silicone transparente para permitir a aferição sempre no mesmo local do dente. Antes de iniciar o procedimento, o paciente será paramentado com Equipamentos de Proteção Individual (óculos de proteção / touca e avental) será realizada profilaxia dentária com pasta de pedra-pomes e água, lavagem da superfície dentária com água e aplicação de barreira gengival (Top Dam - FGM) e fotoativação por 30 segundos com aparelho fotopolimerizador (Raddi - SDI). Neste grupo será utilizado apenas o gel clareador com peróxido de hidrogênio a 35% (Whiteness HP - FGM), com pincel aplicador, na face vestibular dos dentes superiores e inferiores, por um período de 45 minutos, com troca do gel a cada 15 minutos, totalizando duas trocas do mesmo. Ao final dos tempo estabelecido, será aspirado o excesso do gel clareador (cânula de aspiração) e lavada a superfície dentária com água (seringa tríplice), remoção da barreira gengival. O paciente receberá orientações de higiene oral. Grupo 2 (intervenção)- 13 pacientes serão submetidos a 3 sessões de clareamento dentário de consultório, com intervalo de 7 dias entre as sessões. No início e ao final de cada sessão o paciente será submetido a fotografias intra-orais para registro da cor dos dentes, assim como serão submetidos ao uso do espectofotômetro digital (EasyShade - Vita) para aferição da cor dos 6 dentes anteriores superiores, utilizando-se uma matriz em silicone transparente para permitir a aferição sempre no mesmo local do dente. Antes de iniciar o procedimento, o paciente será paramentado com Equipamentos de Proteção Individual (óculos de proteção / touca e avental), será realizada profilaxia dentária com pasta de pedra-pomes e água, lavagem da superfície dentária com água e aplicação de barreira gengival (Top Dam - FGM) e fotoativação por 30 segundos com aparelho fotopolimerizador (Raddi - SDI). Neste grupo será utilizado uma associação: a) gel clareador com peróxido de hidrogênio a 35% (Whiteness HP - FGM), aplicado com pincel na face vestibular dos dentes superiores e inferiores, por um período de 20 minutos, sem troca do gel; b)luz violeta (Bright Max Whitenning - MMO Optics) pelo mesmo período de aplicação do gel clareador, atuando o feixe de luz de forma alternada 1 minuto/ arcada até totalizar os 20 minutos (ou seja, 10 minutos intermitentes por arcada). Ao final dos tempo estabelecido, será aspirado o excesso do gel clareador (cânula de aspiração) e lavada a superfície dentária com água (seringa tríplice), remoção da barreira gengival. Antes de iniciar o procedimento, o paciente será paramentado com Equipamentos de Proteção Individual (óculos de proteção / touca e avental) será realizada profilaxia dentária com pasta de pedra-pomes e água, lavagem da superfície dentária com água e aplicação de barreira gengival na região de gengiva marginal e inserida (Top Dam - FGM) e fotoativação por 30 segundos com aparelho fotopolimerizador (Raddi - SDI). Neste grupo será utilizado apenas o uso da luz violeta (Bright Max Whitenning - MMO Optics) atuando o feixe de luz de forma alternada 1 minuto/ arcada até totalizar os 20 minutos (ou seja, 10 minutos intermitentes por arcada). A cada 5 minutos será realizada a hidratação dos dentes com água (seringa tríplice). Ao final do tempo estabelecido será realizada a remoção da barreira gengival. O paciente receberá orientações de higiene oral.

  -Expected outcome: The primary outcome to be observed is the effectiveness of tooth whitening - Outcome analysis method: through objective analysis in a digital spectrophotometer (Easy Shade - Vita), in which the tooth color variation can be quantified on the CIEL * a * b scale, as well as by the value information referring to the scale Vita, also measured by the same device. This scale provides an assessment of tooth color variation. The teeth analyzed for this parameter will be the 6 upper anterior teeth. A plaster model of the upper dental arch was obtained and, from this, a silicone plate was made in a vacuum machine. A hole was made in the vestibular face, corresponding to the middle third of the canine to canine, in order to have a standardization in the color measurement. This variable was evaluated by an examiner, previously calibrated, using the spectrophotometer (VITA EasyShade®, VITA Zahnfabrik, Germany) - Parameters analyzed: To standardize the evaluation of tooth color, only the upper anterior teeth were evaluated, for which an average was determined.   -Desfecho esperado: O desfecho primário a ser observado é a efetividade do clareamento dentário - Método de análise do desfecho: através da análise objetiva em espectrofotômetro digital (Easy Shade - Vita), no qual pode ser quantificada a variação de cor do dente na escala de CIEL*a*b, assim como pela informação do valor referente à escala Vita, também aferido pelo mesmo aparelho. Esta escala proporciona uma avaliação da variação de cor dos dentes. Os dentes analisados para este parâmetro serão os 6 dentes anteriores superiores.Foi obtido modelo em gesso da arcada dentária superior e, a partir deste, confeccionada placa de silicone em máquina à vácuo. Foi realizado um orifício na face vestibular, correspondente ao terço médio de canino a canino, para haver uma padronização na aferição da cor. Esta variável foi avaliada por um examinador, previamente calibrado, utilizando o espectofotômetro (VITA EasyShade®, VITA Zahnfabrik, Alemanha) - Parâmetros analisados: Para a padronização da avaliação da cor dos dentes, apenas foram avaliados os dentes anteriores superiores, para os quais foi determinada uma média. A variação de cor foi determinada através de duas formas: 1) Variação da cor na escala Vita, onde através da obtenção do cor da escala Vita, no espectrofotômetro, onde atribui-se um valor numérico para a matiz e saturação do dente (B1=1; A1=2; B2=3; D2=4;A2=5;C1=6;C2=7;D4=8;A3=9; D3=10; B3=11; A3,5=12; B4=13; C3=14; A4=15; C4=16) 2) Através da decomposição da cor pelo sistema CIEL*ab, calculando-se as variações dos eixos L*(?L*), a*(?a*), b(?b*)e a diferença total da cor (?E = [(?L*)2 + (?a*)2 + (?b*)2]1/2. Para as duas avaliações foram utilizados os tempos: baseline, imediatamente após a última sessão, 7 dias e 1 mês. The analysis carried out was through the sum by group of the concept attributed to each technique.

A análise realizada foi através do somatório por grupo do conceito atribuído à cada técnica.
