  This is a randomized, unblinded clinical study. Group experimental: 51 women with breast cancer who are indicated for breast symmetrization who received tapings in the recovery room and physiotherapeutic guidance. Participants selected for the experimental group and who had normal skin at the end of the allergy test will have a detailed explanation about the intraoperative taping application procedure and what precautions should be taken during the first seven days P.O. and about the removal procedure of taping. Taping will be applied intraoperatively during plastic surgery, in the operating room, by a researcher trained in applying the technique. The technique will be applied from where the patient is, in the surgical suite, on a stretcher, in the dorsal position (belly up), with the upper limbs at 20º of abduction. The technique aims to compress the abdomen in order to reduce the appearance of post-procedure complications. The application area must be clean and dry, without lotions, moisturizers or any other product that could reduce the adhesion and action of the bandage. The length of the taping will be established by measuring the measurement between the navel and 10cm after the anterior superior iliac crest (patient's measurement), in the posterior direction. The application will take place from 10cm below the navel towards the anterior iliac crest, diagonally, in the abdominal region through the medial region, with a base 3cm before the linea alba, diagonally, towards the lateral region of the abdomen, passing over the iliac crest, without placing tension on the bandage fixation bases and using 0% to 15% tension along the tape. With application, the tendency is for the formation of several “vs” throughout the medial and lateral region of the abdomen. The taping tape application procedure should take approximately 50 minutes. The trained researcher will guide participants on the physiotherapeutic care protocol and home kinesiotherapy in the pre-operative assessment, with the presentation of different exercises, as well as their correct execution, each day, until the return date, aiming to reduce pain. and circulation of blood and liquids. Control group: 51 women with breast cancer who are indicated for breast symmetrization and did not receive taping, but received pysiotherapeutic instructions. Randomization was carried out by simple draw, in which the patient drew an envelope from a block of ten envelopes

  Trata-se de um estudo clínico randomizado, sem cegamento. Grupo experimental: 51 mulheres com câncer de mama que possuem indicação para realizar simetrização de mamas que receberam a colocação dos tapings na sala de recuperação e orientações fisioterapêuticas. As participantes selecionadas para o grupo experimental e que apresentaram normalidade da pele ao final do teste de alergia terão uma explanação minuciosa sobre o procedimento de aplicação do taping no intraoperatório e quais cuidados deverá manter durante os sete primeiros dias de P.O. e sobre o procedimento de retirada do taping. A aplicação do Taping será realizada no intraoperatório da cirurgia plástica, no centro cirúrgico, por uma pesquisadora treinada na aplicação da técnica. A aplicação da técnica dar-se-á a partir do local em que a paciente se encontra, no bloco cirúrgico, em uma maca, na posição dorsal (barriga para cima), com os membros superiores em 20º de abdução. A realização da técnica visa comprimir o abdome a fim de reduzir a aparição de complicações pós procedimento. A área de aplicação deve estar limpa e seca, sem loções, hidratantes ou qualquer outro produto que possa diminuir a aderência e a ação da bandagem. O comprimento do taping será estabelecido pela mensuração da medida entre o umbigo e 10cm após a crista ilíaca ântero-superior (medida da paciente), no sentido posterior. A aplicação se dará a partir de 10cm abaixo do umbigo em direção à crista ilíaca anterior, em diagonal, na região do abdômen pela região medial, com uma base de 3cm antes da linha alba, em diagonal, em direção a região lateral do abdômen, passando em cima da crista ilíaca, sem a colocação de tensão nas bases de fixação da bandagem e a utilização de 0% a 15% de tensão ao longo da fita. Com a aplicação, a tendência é a formação de vários “vs” por toda a região medial e lateral do abdômen. O procedimento de aplicação das fitas de taping deverá ser de aproximadamente 50 minutos. A pesquisadora treinada irá orientar as participantes sobre o protocolo de cuidados fisioterapêuticos e cinesioterapia domiciliar na avaliação pré-operatória, com a apresentação de diferentes exercícios, bem como sua execução correta, a cada dia, até a data de retorno, visando à redução da dor e circulação de sangue e líquidos. Grupo controle: 51 mulheres com câncer de mama que possuem indicação para realizar simetrização de mamas e não receberam a aplicação do taping, entretanto receberam as orientações fisioterapêuticas. A randomização foi realizada por sorteio simples, em que a paciente sorteava um envelope, dentro de um bloco de dez envelopes
