    141 patients selected for the study (113 patients in the group with acute kidney injury and 28 without acute kidney injury) will be evaluated after hemodynamic resuscitation using capillary filling time (TEC) and peripheral perfusion index (PPI) techniques for 3 consecutive days. The time of capillary filling will be measured by applying pressure on the nail bed of the distal phalanx of the finger, with increased intensity until complete local bleaching, and maintained for 10 seconds. The return time to normal skin color will be recorded using a timekeeper, being considered abnormal the time greater than or equal to 3 seconds. The peripheral perfusion index, derived from the photoelectric plethysmographic signal of pulse oximetry, will be evaluated through an ELERA pulse oximeter whose PI value varies between 0 and 20. All patients allocated to the study, after a period of signal stabilization (around 20 minutes), will have their PPI values evaluated on the index finger and noted down for 5 minutes, with values less than 1.4 being considered abnormal.

    141 pacientes selecionados para o estudo (113 pacientes grupo com injuria renal aguda e 28 sem injuria renal aguda) serão avaliados após ressuscitação hemodinâmica por meio das técnicas de tempo de enchimento capilar (TEC) e índice de perfusão periférica (IPP) durante 3 dias consecutivos. O tempo de enchimento capilar será mensurado por meio da aplicação de uma pressão no leito ungueal da falange distal do dedo, com intensidade aumentada até completo branqueamento local, e mantida por 10 segundos. O tempo de retorno para cor normal da pele será registrado por meio de um cronometro, sendo considerado anormal o tempo maior ou igual a 3 segundos. O índice de perfusão periférica, derivado do sinal plestismográfico fotoelétrico da oximetria de pulso, será avaliado por meio do oxímetro de pulso marca ELERA cujo valor do IP varia entre 0 e 20. Todos pacientes alocados no estudo, após um período de estabilização do sinal (em torno de 20 minutos), terão os valores do IPP avaliados no dedo indicador e anotados por 5 minutos, sendo considerados anormais os valores menores que 1.4.
