    Group 1 (all patients who receive positive diagnosis for hereditary cancer within six months. Estimate: 180 patients) - The Informative Paper will be delivered to patients at diagnosis. At the next appointment will be apply a questionnaire to assess the level of patient information about the
Oncogenetics Counseling and a scale to measure perceived coercion to inform the families about your hereditary cancer.

Group 2 (All families of the patients who seek the ambulatory during the stipulated period. Estimate: 360)- 
Application of the same questionnaire to assess the degree of information about Oncogenetics Counseling and a scale to assess the perceived coercion to seek the examination in the ambulatory.

    Grupo 1 (Todos os pacientes que receberem diagnóstico positivo para câncer hereditário no período de seis meses. Estimativa: 180 pacientes) - A Folha Informativa será entregue aos pacientes no momento do diagnóstico. Na próxima consulta, será feita a aplicação de um questionário para verificar o grau de informações dos pacientes sobre Aconselhamento em Oncogenética e de uma escala para avaliar a coerção percebida em informar aos familiares sobre seu câncer hereditário. 

Grupo 2 (Todos os Familiares dos pacientes da amostra 1 que buscarem o ambulatório no período estipulado.     Will be included all adult patients who receive a positive diagnosis at the Ambulatory of Oncogenetics/Medical Genetics Service of the hospital for six months and agree to participate in the research, documented by the Consent Term. Also included are all adult family members who seek care at the same ambulatory for a fixed period and accept to participate in the research, documenting the acceptance by Consent Term.

                                                        The outcomes will be the perception of coercion of patients to communicate to relatives on the examination result and degree of information as well as the perception of coercion in the search for the exams by relatives.

Instruments to measure outcomes:

Informative Paper: A Informative Paper on oncogenetics counseling will be developed along the Laboratory of Genomic Medicine of the hospital, and will include items such as diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures, benefits, local service.

Check List of Information Informative Paper: The Check List will be based on data from the Informative Paper.

Perceived Coercion Scale in Patients (Oncogenetics) and Coercion Expression Scale and  in Family (Oncogenetics): Scales adapted by the Laboratory of Research in Bioethics and Ethics in Science of the hospital. 
These scales are derived from the Perceived Coercion Scale  and Expression of Coercion Scale, adapted by Taborda, derived from the MacArthur Coercion Study.

Will be elaborated four scenarios, where famliares of patients in both subgroups 1 (with or without the Informative Paper) will be classified, by percentage, as information and perceptions of coercion.

                                                        Os desfechos serão a percepção de coerção dos pacientes para comunicar aos familiares sobre o resultado do exame e o grau de informação, bem como a percepção de coerção para a busca de realização do exame, por parte dos familiares. 

Instrumentos para avaliar os desfechos:

Folha Informativa: A folha informativa sobre aconselhamento em oncogenética será elaborada, juntamente ao Laboratório de Medicina Genômica do hospital, e contemplará ítens como procedimentos de diagnóstico, procedimentos terapêuticos, benefícios dos procedimentos, locais de atendimento.

Check List das informações da Folha Informativa:  O Check List será elaborado com base nos dados da Folha Informativa.

Escala de Percepção de Coerção em Pacientes (Oncogenética) e Escala de Expressão de Coerção em Familiares (Oncogenética): Escalas adaptadas no Laboratório de Pesquisa em Bioética e Ética na Ciênciado hospital, oriundas das escalas de Coerção Percebida e da Escala de Expressão de Coerção adaptadas por Taborda, derivadas da MacArthur Coercion Study.
