  The study will be conducted with 20 mothers who are breastfeeding and divided into only one group. Initially, data collection will be carried out, through a socio-demographic and obstetric questionnaire to obtain information from the participants, and then application of the laser on the breast cracks. It will be using the low power laser (660nm - AlGaInP) on the region of the nipples and areola that present cracks, in a punctual way, with 4J / cm2. Before and after each session with the aforementioned resource, the level of pain will be assessed using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and, at the beginning and at the end of the treatment, photos will be recorded for a comparison of healing.

  O estudo será realizado com 20 puérperas em período de amamentação sendo divididas em somente um grupo. Inicialmente, será realizada a coleta de dados, através de um questionário sócio demográfico e obstétrico para obtenção de informações das participantes, e, em seguida aplicação do laser sobre as fissuras mamárias. Será utilizando o laser de baixa potência (660nm – AlGaInP) sobre a região dos mamilos e aréola que apresentarem fissuras, de forma pontual, com 4J/cm2. Antes e após cada sessão com o recurso citado, será avaliado o nível de dor através da Escala Visual Analógica (EVA)e, no início e ao final do tratamento será feito o registro de fotos para uma comparação da cicatrização.

  Women under 18; who are undergoing any treatment for breast fissures; who have neoplasms, pregnancy, cognitive difficulties, infected open wounds and skin with altered sensitivity, who refuse to sign the informed consent form.

  It is expected to prove the effectiveness of the laser device for the healing and reduction of pain caused by breast cracks, related to the traumas that occurred to the mothers during breastfeeding. To evaluate the healing, the evaluation of the photos will be performed by two specialists, where they will evaluate the images before and after the laser application. The material evaluated by the researchers will consist of frontal view images detailing the entire evolution of the fissures, where the result will be judged from 0 to 10, evaluating the signs of clinical improvement with pictures from before and after, with 0 showing no improvement and 10 significant improvement. For the assessment of pain, the results obtained through VAS will be reviewed, where the participants themselves will quantify the pain according to what they are feeling.

  Espera-se comprovar a eficácia do aparelho laser para a cicatrização e diminuição da dor causada pelas fissuras mamárias, relacionadas aos traumas ocorridos às puérperas durante a amamentação. Para avaliar a cicatrização será realizada a avaliação das fotos por dois especialistas, onde avaliarão as imagens antes e após a aplicação do laser. O material avaliado pelos pesquisadores será composto por imagens em visão frontal detalhando toda a evolução das fissuras, onde o resultado será julgado de 0 a 10, avaliando os sinais de melhora clínica com fotos do antes e depois, sendo que 0 não houve melhora e 10 uma melhora significativa. Para a avaliação da dor será realizado a revisão dos resultados obtidos através da EVA, onde as próprias participantes irão quantificar a dor de acordo com o que está sentindo.
