    50 newborns in use of peripheral inserted central catheter and admitted to newborn intensive care unit have a dressing change, 50 of these by applying adhesive releaser for removal of the previous dressing (intervention group) and 50 by traditional techniques without the use of the product (control group). by applying adhesive releaser for removal of the previous dressing. The dressing will be held in the first 24 hours after the puncture of the catheter and subsequent exchanges will be held once a week or when necessary (loose bandage, presence of bleeding , catheter traction). The participant will be followed for a period of 15 days after the inclusion of research for assessment of pain and the development of skin lesion .

    100 recém-nascidos em uso de cateter central de inserção periférica e internados em unidade de terapia intensiva neonatal serão submetidos a troca do curativo de fixação do cateter, sendo 50 destes mediante aplicação do liberador de adesivo para remoção do curativo anterior (grupo intervenção) e os outros 50 mediante técnica tradicional, sem o uso do produto (grupo controle). O curativo será realizado nas primeiras 24 horas após a punção do cateter e posteriormente as trocas serão realizadas uma vez por semana ou quando houver necessidade (curativo solto, presença de sangramento, tração do cateter). O participante será acompanhado pelo período de 15 dias após a inclusão da pesquisa para o desenvolvimento avaliação da dor e do desenvolvimento de lesão de pele.

RNs in use of semipermeable film transparent for fixing of peripheraly inserted central cateter (PICC) inserted in the first two weeks of life;

                                                        Prevention of skin lesions in preterm infants by using adhesive releasing the exchange of dressing of central catheter  peripherally inserted. For skin assessment for the occurrence of lesions will be used STAR system (Skin Tear Classification System), complemented by clinical evaluation of the nurse responsible for the procedure for the presence of bleeding, hyperemia or no skin changes.                                                         Prevenção de lesões de pele em prematuros pela utilização de liberador de adesivo na troca de curativo de cateter central de inserção periférica. Para avaliação da pele em relação a ocorrência de lesões será empregado sistema STAR (Skin Tear Classification System), complementado pela avaliação clínica do enfermeiro responsável pelo procedimento quanto a presença de sangramento, hiperemia ou ausência de alterações.                                                     Prevention of newborn pain during dressing change of the peripheral inserted central catheter by using adhesive releaser. For pain assessment will be used to NIPS (Pain Rating Scale in RN and Infant) for evaluation of pain before and during the procedure. Para avaliação da dor será utilizada a escala NIPS (Escala de Avaliação de Dor no RN e no Lactente) para avaliação da dor antes e durante o procedimento.
