    In study 3 (intervention phase), initially, an online dissemination will be held, in which parents interested in participating in the parental intervention will be recruited. Based on the research criteria and intervention objectives, a selection of participants will be made. Those selected, by signing the Informed Consent Form, will be screened (clinical interview and pre-test), which will clarify any doubts, ensuring the confidentiality, confidentiality of data by the researchers and the right to abandon the procedure at any time without prejudice.
Entrants will be invited to participate in the research and will be divided into the experimental group (n = 30) and the control group (n = 30). For a group division, look for and compare participants who should use the intervention program (intervention group) and those who cannot use (group control), according to the following variables that are available in the pretest: gender and age. It is noteworthy that, for ethical reasons, a researcher will commit, after the conclusion of the project with an experimental group, the offer or the same intervention project for participants who lost in the control group. Thus, the control group will be notified that a new project group will be started after the intervention of the first group.
The intervention group will be evaluated in three moments: first evaluation (pretest), second evaluation after intervention (posttest) and follow-up (one month after the end of the program). Thus, the control group will be evaluated in two or even three moments: initial evaluation, second evaluation without intervention (posttest 1) and third evaluation after intervention for those who wish to participate in the project in the second class (posttest 2). In addition to the sociodemographic questionnaire, participants will answer: Parenting Sense of Competence Scale (PSOC); Parental Stress Scale –EEPa; Parenting Styles Inventory - IEP (GOMIDE, 2011); Skills and difficulties questionnaire- SDQ (FLEITLICH; CORTÁZAR; GOODMAN et al, 2000)
The intervention program consists of eight meetings lasting 2 hours once a week. Among the themes worked on are: influences on child behavior; the importance of interaction and playing with children; how to deal with desired and unwanted behaviors; thoughts, emotions and parent-child relationship. During the intervention, which will be based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the following resources will be used: formulation and cognitive restructuring, psychoeducation, role-play, training in parenting skills, self-monitoring and action plan. The intervention will take place on the premises of the Clinical School of Psychology of the Federal University of Ceará (UFC).

    No estudo 3 (fase da intervençao), inicialmente, será realizada uma divulgação online, em que pais interessados em participar da intervenção parental serão recrutados. Com base nos critérios da pesquisa e nos objetivos da intervenção, será feita uma seleção dos participantes. Os selecionados, mediante a assinatura do Termo de Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido TCLE, serão submetidos a uma triagem (entrevista clínica e pré-teste), em que serão esclarecidas eventuais dúvidas, sendo garantido o sigilo, confidencialidade dos dados por parte dos pesquisadores e o direito de abandonar o procedimento a qualquer momento, sem prejuízos. 
Os inscritos serão convidados a participar da pesquisa e serão divididos em grupo experimental (n=30) e grupo controle (n=30). Para a divisão dos grupos, procurar-se-á emparelhar os participantes que serão submetidos ao programa de Intervenção(grupo intervenção) e os que não serão submetidos (grupo controle), de acordo com as seguintes variáveis que serão avaliadas no pré-teste: sexo e idade. Ressalta-se que, por questões éticas, a pesquisadora se comprometerá, após a conclusão do projeto com grupo experimental, a oferecer o mesmo projeto de intervenção aos participantes que inicialmente ficaram no grupo controle.  Assim, o grupo controle será avisado que uma nova turma do projeto iniciará após a  intervenção do primeiro grupo terminar. 
O grupo intervenção será avaliado em três momentos: primeira avaliação (pré-teste), segunda avaliação pós intervenção (pós-teste) e follow-up (após um mês do término do programa).  Assim, o grupo controle será avaliado em dois ou até três momentos: avaliação inicial, segunda avaliação sem intervenção (pós-teste 1) e terceira avaliação pós intervenção para aqueles que desejarem participar do projeto na segunda turma (pós teste 2). Além do questionário sociodemográfico, os participantes responderão: Escala de Sentido de Competência Parental (Parenting Sense of Competence Scale – PSOC); Escala de Estresse Parental –EEPa; Inventário de Estilos Parentais – IEP (GOMIDE, 2011); Questionário de capacidades e dificuldades- SDQ (FLEITLICH; CORTÁZAR; GOODMAN et al, 2000)  
O Programa de intervenção consta de oito encontros com duração de 2 horas uma vez por semana. Entre os temas trabalhados estão: influências no comportamento infantil; a importância da interação e do brincar com os filhos; como lidar com comportamentos desejados e indesejados; pensamentos, emoções e relação pais-filhos. Durante a intervenção, que terá como base a Terapia Cognitivo-Comportamental, utilizar-se-á os seguintes recursos: formulação e reestruturação cognitiva, psicoeducação, “role-play”, treino em habilidades parentais, automonitoramento e plano de ação.                                                         It is expected that in the second evaluation of the Intervention Group (Post-Test), when compared to the first evaluation (Pre-Test), there will be an improvement in parenting styles, parental stress and parental competence of intervention program participants;
It is expected that in the third assessment of the Intervention Group (Follow up- two months after the end of the intervention), when compared to the second assessment (Post-test) parenting styles, parental stress and parental competence will remain or improve;
