  Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two treatment groups, by lot: control or experimental, with the first 2 randomized to the control group and 1 for experimental, so on, until you complete the sample size. The control group (n = 100) receive guidance on breastfeeding through video and pamphlet and the experimental group (n = 50) will receive, in addition motivational interviewing and follow-up visits for guidance on breastfeeding for health professionals. Control group (orientation): the participants in this group will receive guidance verbally through video and reinforced by a pamphlet with guidance on breastfeeding: management and technical in the initial interview during pregnancy. Experimental group (guidance, monitoring and motivational interviewing): the participants in this group, and guidance through video and pamphlet on breastfeeding: management and technical in the initial interview during pregnancy, will receive a home visit follow-up to 5 days after delivery for guidance and correction of the difficulties and management of breastfeeding technique and held motivational interviewing 40 minutes long about. The maintenance of the guidance and motivational interviewing on breastfeeding will take place through two phone calls, the 2nd and 14th week of the baby's life. In the sixth month of the baby's life, standard of exclusive breastfeeding will be evaluated in two groups (control and experimental) through home interviews.

  As participantes serão aleatoriamente atribuídas a um dos dois grupos de tratamento, por sorteio: controle ou experimental, sendo as duas primeiras sorteadas para o grupo controle e a seguinte para o grupo experimental, assim sucessivamente, até concluir o tamanho da amostra. O grupo controle (n=100) receberá orientações sobre amamentação por meio de vídeo e panfleto e o grupo experimental (n=50) receberá, adicionalmente entrevista motivacional e visitas de acompanhamento para orientação sobre aleitamento materno por profissionais de saúde. Grupo controle (orientação): as participantes desse grupo receberão orientações verbalmente por meio de vídeo e reforçadas por um panfleto com orientações sobre a prática do aleitamento materno: manejo e técnica na entrevista inicial durante a gestação. Grupo experimental (orientação, acompanhamento e entrevista motivacional): as participantes desse grupo, além de orientações por meio de vídeo e panfleto sobre a prática do aleitamento materno: manejo e técnica na entrevista inicial durante a gestação, receberão uma visita domiciliar de acompanhamento até 5 dias após o parto para orientação das dificuldades e correção e manejo da técnica de aleitamento materno, bem como realizada entrevista motivacional de 40 minutos de duração aproximadamente. A manutenção das orientações e da entrevista motivacional sobre aleitamento materno será realizada por meio de duas ligações telefônicas, na 2ª e 14ª semana de vida do bebê. No sexto mês de vida do bebê, o padrão de aleitamento materno exclusivo será avaliado, nos dois grupos (controle e experimental) por meio de entrevistas domiciliares.
