Interventions

• Interventions:

  Intervention group: 42 caregivers of both sexes will test a telehealth intervention in which they will record videos in care situations that they consider challenging using a video recording application for 3 months (12 weeks) and send them for analysis by the interdisciplinary team specialists from the Home Care Service. These professionals will provide individualized interventions and return to the caregiver. A team of professionals will meet weekly to review the videos and identify specific interventions, providing weekly phone call feedback and guidance conducted by clinical experience and care protocols developed by the Home Care Service. Caregivers will also receive informational videos from the team about the service and home care weekly. Control group: 42 caregivers of both sexes will receive a weekly telephone call from the interdisciplinary team of specialists from the Home Care Service for 3 months (12 weeks). Caregivers will also receive informational videos from the team about the service and home care weekly. Caregivers in the intervention and control groups will receive a weekly call from the intervener, who will be a health professional with experience in home care. Caregivers in the intervention group will receive weekly feedback from the professional team based on the recorded videos, while caregivers in the control group will receive feedback from the expert team through their verbal telephone reports weekly for 3 months (12 weeks). Each participant will be randomly assigned to the intervention or control group, through randomization. Only the interveners of the intervention group will participate in the video review meetings, and those sent to the control group will be dispensed during the review of the videos of this group, so that the interventions provided are guided only by telephone conversation. This process will allow the evaluation of the effects of support to the caregiver through video data versus retrospective verbal support. The control group intervener will only have access to the control group's videos at the end of the three-month period, when it will provide caregivers with feedback based on the review of their uploaded videos. Data on the effects of the intervention will be collected at three points throughout the study: baseline, first and third months. Home visits by a member of the research team will be carried out to complete the data collection survey at each of the three moments using the Self Report Questionnaire 20, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, Zarit Burden Interview, The World Health Organization Quality of Life instruments and Social Support Questionnaire. With regard to socio-demographic and economic classification questionnaires, these will be applied only at the baseline, the moment before the intervention.

  Grupo intervenção: 42 cuidadores de ambos os sexos testarão uma intervenção de telessaúde em que os mesmos gravarão vídeos em situações de cuidados que considerarem desafiadoras usando um aplicativo de gravação de vídeo durante 3 meses (12 semanas) e enviarão os mesmos para análise da equipe interdisciplinar de especialistas do Serviço de Atenção Domiciliar. Esses profissionais fornecerão intervenções individualizadas e retorno ao cuidador. Uma equipe de profissionais se reunirá semanalmente para revisar os vídeos e identificar intervenções específicas, fornecendo feedback por ligação telefônica semanal e orientações conduzidas pela experiência clínica e protocolos de atendimento desenvolvidos pelo Serviço de Atenção Domiciliar. Os cuidadores também receberão vídeos informativos da equipe acerca do serviço e cuidados domiciliares semanalmente. Grupo controle: 42 cuidadores de ambos os sexos receberão uma ligação telefônica semanal da equipe interdisciplinar de especialistas do Serviço de Atenção Domiciliar durante 3 meses (12 semanas). Os cuidadores também receberão vídeos informativos da equipe acerca do serviço e cuidados domiciliares semanalmente. Os cuidadores dos grupos intervenção e controle receberão uma ligação semanal do interventor, que será um profissional de saúde com experiência no atendimento domiciliar. Os cuidadores do grupo intervenção receberão retorno semanal da equipe de profissionais com base nos vídeos gravados, já os cuidadores do grupo controle receberão retorno da equipe de especialistas mediante seus relatórios verbais por telefone semanalmente durante 3 meses (12 semanas). Cada participante será aleatoriamente designado para o grupo intervenção ou controle, mediante randomização. Apenas os interventores do grupo intervenção participarão das reuniões de revisão do vídeo, sendo aqueles remetidos ao grupo controle dispensados durante a revisão dos vídeos desse, para que as intervenções fornecidas sejam orientadas apenas pela conversa telefônica. Esse processo permitirá a avaliação dos efeitos de apoio ao cuidador mediante dados de vídeo versus o apoio verbal retrospectivo. O interventor do grupo controle somente terá acesso aos vídeos do grupo controle ao final do período de três meses, quando ofertará aos cuidadores feedback baseado na revisão de seus vídeos enviados. Os dados acerca dos efeitos da intervenção serão coletados em três momentos ao longo do estudo: linha de base, primeiro e terceiro meses. As visitas domiciliares por membro da equipe de pesquisa serão realizadas para completar a pesquisa de coleta de dados em cada um dos três momentos com aplicação dos instrumentos Self Report Questionnaire 20, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, Zarit Burden Interview, The World Health Organization Quality of Life e Social Support Questionnaire. No que diz respeito aos questionários sóciodemográfico e de classificação econômica, esses serão aplicados apenas na linha de base, momento que precede a intervenção.
