  This is a controlled, double-blind clinical study with 2 arms. A total of 26 volunteers who meet the eligibility criteria will be allocated into 2 groups according to the type of hyaluronic acid used: Restylane® Shaype and Juvederm® Volux. The products will be applied with needles according to the companies' instructions, with Restylane® Shaype using 27G x 3/4" needles and Juvederm® Volux using 27G x 1/2" needles, both supplied in their respective packaging. The chin will be marked and divided in half, creating one central injection point and one on each side (approximately 1 centimeter from the central point). 0.4 ml of hyaluronic acid will be injected into the central point and 0.3 ml into each of the lateral points.

  Trata-se de um estudo clínico controlado de 2 braços, duplo-cego. Um total de 26 voluntárias que preencham os critérios de elegibilidade serão alocadas em 2 grupos segundo o tipo de ácido hialurônico utilizado: Restylane® Shaype e Juvederm® Volux. Os produtos serão aplicados com agulhas conforme as instruções das empresas, sendo o Restylane® Shaype com agulhas 27G x 3/4" e o Juvederm® Volux com agulhas 27G x 1/2", ambos fornecidos em suas respectivas embalagens. O mento será marcado e dividido ao meio, criando um ponto de injeção central e um em cada lado (aproximadamente 1 centímetro do ponto central). Serão injetados 0,4 ml de ácido hialurônico no ponto central e 0,3 ml em cada um dos pontos laterais.

  Volunteers with complaint of chin retrusion, classified as levels II - III on the Galderma chin retrusion scale (GCRS); no previous aesthetic treatments in the mental region.

• Exclusion criteria:

  Volunteers who are pregnant or breastfeeding; with hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid; who have received aesthetic treatments in the medial and lower region of the face in the last year; who present with autoimmune diseases.
