20 patients of both sexes will be evaluated , regardless of age , in use of an endotracheal tube or tracheostomy , receiving ventilatory support , sedated , hemodynamically stable , no active participation in the ventilador.Todos patients included in this study will be submitted to the control group ( CTRL ) and Intervention ( INTERVAL ) . The interval between the application of each protocol will be set at 24 hours In the intervention group patients will undergo chest compression maneuvers consisting of vigorous compression of the thorax , performed bilaterally , both hands being placed in the lower third of the patient's chest. After compressions patients will undergo tracheal aspiration through the endotracheal tube . In the control group, the patients will undergo a placebo chest compression , where the researcher will place your hands at the last 6 ribs and monitor the movement of expiration but without any chest compression , after the placebo patients will undergo aspiration of the endotracheal tube .

Serão avaliados 20 pacientes de ambos os sexos, sem limite de idade, em uso de um tubo orotraqueal ou traqueostomia, recebendo suporte ventilatório, sedados, estáveis hemodinamicamente, sem participação interativa com o ventilador.Todos os pacientes incluídos neste estudo serão submetidos ao grupo controle (CTRL) e Intervenção (INTERV). O intervalo entre a aplicação de cada protocolo será estipulado em 24 horas No grupo intervenção os pacientes serão submetidos a manobras de compressão torácica que consistirá na compressão vigorosa do tórax, realizada bilateralmente, estando as mãos posicionadas no terço inferior do tórax do paciente. Após as compressões os pacientes serão submetidos à aspiração traqueal, realizada através do tubo orotraqueal. No grupo controle os pacientes serão submetidos a um placebo da compressão torácica, onde o pesquisador posicionará as mãos na altura das últimas 6 costelas e acompanhará o movimento de expiração porém sem que haja qualquer compressão torácica, após o término do placebo o paciente será submetido a aspiração do tubo orotraqueal.

Patients of both genres; aged between 18 and 80 years; in use of an endotracheal tube or tracheostomy; receiving ventilatory support; sedated; hemodynamically stable; no active participation in the fan; having diagnosed the presence of lung infection

History of pulmonary disease; hemodynamic instability; abnormalities of the chest or abdominal wall; obesity; severe scoliosis; pregnancy; cardiac pacemaker; pneumothorax; flail ches;, presence of vascular fragility; acute respiratory distress syndrome; thrombocytopenia

Most secretion removed and consequent improvement in lung mechanics and gas exchange in the group submitted to maneuver chest compression measured by the weight of secretion, blood gases and lung mechanics measured before and after the maneuvers of chest compression
